Mostly flatlining. Glow spoons early took 3 small browns, One pretty Steelie:

    One big fighting small mouth:

And finished the day with a 9 inch Coho (washed out of the hatchery last month?)

  3. Tried an afternoon trip on the south end, tried to find some browns but this LT got in the way.

Finished the day 2 for 3, also landed one small LL, and broke off another good fish when it got too close to our lead core rig. LT at 60 over 170 FOW, on perch pattern stickbait. LL on stinger also in perch pattern, ghost fish took my black & purple flutter, was set at 80, he still has it.

  4. Ron - we launch out of Taughannock all the time, we will look for you and compare notes. Our ride is a 20 Ft. Trophy with a grey soft top.

We went out yesterday and with the water so high, barely made it under the bridge. So much debris in the water made it tough to keep lines clear, we marked a lot of fish right off the point, but the conditions made it tough to make a good presentation. We saw another boat, and yelled back and forth, they were not hooking anything either. I know he uses this site, but I am not sure who he was. If you read this, PM me and we can talk about what we did wrong on Sunday! :(

  5. Decided to brave the rain & flood watch's and hit the lake. What better place to be then in a boat, huh?

Fished from 7 -11am with 5 fish boated. Biggest was a fat LL- a little shy of 4 lbs., and a bow about the same. The rest were smaller LL's. All on spoons, NBK & blue/silver, 50 - 70 over 250 FOW.

No laker takers today, although the guys were getting some from the shore right there by the Taughannock marina on eggs.

  6. Slow morning, marking LT around 100, but could not get any takers on spinny/fly nor dodger/fly. Finally switched to black/purple spoon and landed one, 6lb.

Found the Bows & Salmon at 50 over 150, landed 3, all around 3 lb's, lost one bigger silver at the back of the boat. All on watermelon spoons.

    SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS

Launched out of Sudus, about 12 boats in the merry go round in front of the bay, did not see any fish landed. We tried different depths, marked some fish around 60 FOW, could not get any takers. Even tried the bay after geting blown off the lake around lunch time. Got back on the lake and tried deeper water, did not mark much in the 100 - 175 range either.

Anybody landing any fish in the Sudus area?

We get up to the "Big Pond" from Ithaca a couple times a year, but dont seem to do very well.

Thanks in advance to any replies.
