I have the same boat. Multi species fish catching machine. Just saying
Anyhow. I use the older downriver bases. They are black and mount into the track and set screw into outside track. Rock solid. Have Mag 10’s
On both corners
The newer mounts look and feel weak
due to the mount system - 1 lock in point being the track only.
I use the same black rigger base for side cannon rod holders. Again really solid. I mount a tree or dual axis cannons for walleye board trolling.

For what it’s worth. I have a 2008 and can’t say enough about this boat. We fish Erie. Ontario. N River. L Champlain. Inland lakes. It does it all
and great trolling rig. Huge floor area to move around w 3-4 guys. My boat is rigged almost identical. If you are looking at buying it. Go look at it.
Can’t go wrong w a LUND.

Quick shout out to Capt. Matt of WET NET

Charters for working hard to put us on the fish. We fished on Friday with him in some “sloppy-choppy” conditions and limited on those charged up spring kings. His new BlackFin boat handled the rough seas nicely.

Great trip and highly recommended him.
