Havent been out yet this year but last year we did well with the pike on shinners also quiet ice meaning weekdays when there are less people

Went to check the ice today saw 1 guy sitting about 100yrds off the turn around so I started towards him got about 50 yrd off and got kinda scared. Found 2 open holes so I kicked them in only about 1.5 -2 inches of ice. Not enough for me and kids but its geting there .......cant wait to get out !!

A local Frame shop should be able to build a frame and get mounted for you

Check bass pro i think they have them on the shelf at the store and its about an hour drive from you. I have multiple dings gouges and missing chunks in my skeg from the previous owner i thought about getting one but the boat handles fine and from talking to other ppl they tend to fall off alot

Thanks for the info guys i just find it odd that nobody local has parts or rebuilds these things. Seems like a ton of people have them and i would think there would be a big demand for that 

Ok i just picked up two Magda pro ma 30dk reels at an awesome price but while im relineing them i notice the leveler is hanging up at the ends. I took it apart and noticed the little blade that rides in the groove is pretty worn. So after a little searching on the intenet i cant seem to find parts for these things. I know these reels are pretty popular and was wondering if anybody knew where i could get parts or a rebuild kit for these ??

Im new to useing dipsys and dont want to go out right now (ok my wife dosent want me spending money ) and buy a roller fishing pole set-up for running copper so my question to you all is this, Can i use lead core on a conventional eye pole and will it work for getting the dipsys down like copper would ? What is the differance between copper and lead and what are the advantages or disadvantages to useing one over the other. Any other tips would be appricated. Thanks !!

Long time page stalker first time poster... Im looking for a little help planning a Musky hunt. Im looking for a little info on planning a trip this fall more or less where and when. St Lawerance? Chautauqua? Niagra river? My father and i have fished for them before but never really targeted them and now that i have a boat that will better accomidate this type of trip i wanna make it happen. So please any info that you guys would like to help me with that would be great. Places? Time of year (I understand its more of a fall thing but what month/week would be best). I also understand that this is the fish of 10,000 cast but im getting close i think i have about 9389 casts and all summer to meet my limit.
