My boat had the same thing when I bought it. Never noticed the sheet metal screws and caulk for years until I did the floor.

I got the big rivets from traxstech and sealed up a few holes. some next to each other that i had to file down the rivets.

If u need one rivet and the big rivet tool let me know. Im in north greece.

I also had leaks from the splash well down to the bottom of the boat. Along the transom.

My bilge outlet is on the side of the boat normally above water but when tipped the water rushed in thru the bilge pump. Bad location but a check valve fixed it for now.

I feel safer knowing this boat is on the lake!

Can't wait to see it flying across the chop.

There is some info on tuning meat rigs online.

No expert here but i found the size and shape of the flasher impacted the movement of the meat and fish catching.

I started with minion fly and just got some more.

Don’t forget the cost of meat and sometimes its hard to find.

Weird year and ice. Was wondering the same thing.

Ice came late. But got thick quick.

After a few snow, drift, melt and freezes the ice has 4” raised areas. The last few rains puddled up and melted down certain areas.


last weekend my finder was reading 36.7*F water temp.

We were on 8” of ice w areas of
Never spudded so much.

Glad we got thick ice otherwise it would have been a short season on the ponds.

I think I have to go outside in a T-shirt for a few hours to get use to the cold. Feels freezing!

I am in the same boat with chaumont bay weekend 1/26. No pun intended. Hope we don’t need to bring up a boat

1st timer to schmoe and Scared of the ice horror stories there. now this winter.

Staying at 3mile pt. Any advice on ice there would be nice.

The area and does are good to hold that chief buck so another one will love to fill his shoes.
