  1. The rigger has the extendable boom, and dual rod holders. It is not a newer high speed model. I also have the pedestal mount and swivel base. I will sell separated or as an assembly. The cable is newer but I robbed the terminator off it. $275 for all, pm txt, or call me at 315-569-0334. Item is located in Bridgeport NY.
  2. This is brand new in an unopened box. This can be track mounted or screwed down. $40 I will ship at buyers expense. PM, txt, or call me at 315-569-0334.
  3. This is an older manual downrigger with a 4' boom, and dual rod holders. I am not sure of the model, but I would say it is the equivalent of the kingfish. I also have a walker swivel mount base, and a custom riser/ mounting plate. I am looking to get $75 for the rigger, $50 for the swivel base, and $20 for the custom mounting plate/riser. please contact me by pm, txt, or call 315-569-0334. I am located in Bridgeport NY.
  4. What model and does anything else come with it? Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. This is how I mounted mine. The eye on the weight was ironically the same width as the gap for the attachment hole. Stainless nut and bolt. Works great. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. They Definitely have non-ethanol, they get there gas from canada. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. Fished Sunday and had screens like that as well. Dropped probe rigger through those fish and had Temps in the high 50's. Not sure what they are, but also did not move a rod through them. Hit 2 kings off the finger in 150fow. Not many king marks in that area though Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Trolling or jigging? I will be in a-bay all weekend and was gonna leave the boat at camp on pillar Point, but did not realize you could still get walleyes this time of year. I usually switch to open lake fishing after the spring. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Ok, that is different than the design of the gunnel on a tyee. Just food for thought with the pic....Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. I understand completely. The gunnel is what flexes on mine as well. Backing it will add some rigidity, but will not eliminate the issue. Why do you not want to mount them directly to the gunnel? Hard mounting them seems less obtrusive than adding a support track across the width of the boat, unless you need the extra track.Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I have a brand new Lund and tried track mounted riggers. DO NOT TRUST THEM! There is too much flex. I lost a rigger last year when the mount broke at the base. Cannon replaced everything, but I learned my lesson. My tracks are reinforced on the backside with 5/8" marine grade plywood with very large washers on the bolts. They will still flex off the gunnel. I hard mounted 2 Scottys behind the tracks using the same backing and they are solid as a rock. I run 14# weights with no issues. I have 1 track mount cannon I use as a 3rd rigger when needed. I remove it from the mount every time I run or transport, and never run more than a 10# weight off it. The only thing that may stop the flex with the tracks is maybe adding more support bolts directly under the rigger mount, but in my opinion just hard mount them to the gunnel. 12. Leadcore setups. 3 4 5 6 7 8 10 colors run all different lengths off planers. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  13. Swivels Definitely fit it's a clarion 55. Legacy-you would trust the back to back haywire twist on any one of your rods? I use shrink tubing as well to keep the twist together. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. How does everyone feel about splicing copper? And what method do you use? Thinking of making my 300 a 350. The 300 is being out fished by my 400 about 10:1. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. Still no results posted anywhere? Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Fishing was very good first thing in the morning for browns. Leadcore was key. Riggers only took 2 fish out of 24 between 3 days. Fishing slows down to nothing after 9am. Most fish were over 7-8lbs with 14 lbs being our biggest. Hit 2 monster drum as well. They are like pulling a drift bag on an ultra lite. Everything on spoons, mostly stingray size stingers. 17. leadcores are the key. Riggers take fish but leadcores take alot more fish. Didn't see many boards out on Sunday when we were hitting them.Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. The bite really slowed down for us. Went 3-3 with 2 small kings and a steelhead. All fish were caught before 7:00 am. Had 3 releases for the next 4 hours. Trolled north and south from 140'-400'. Last weekend we boated 19 fish between 2 days. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. engineers make fishing equipment, fishermen catch fish. I was simply trying to expose the fact that the equipment most of us use can give us more information. The fact that their is a degree of error should have been a given. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. So a fish that Is not directly under the boat but marked by your graph is actually deeper than it shows? Not tor argue with you but you seem educated on this technology so I am wondering. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  21. When turning the outside ball always shows it is moving faster. If it shows me depth of ball compared to the transducer I'm satisfied. I'm not sure why going by graph, that shows you the depth of the ball(in relation to the transducer) is inaccurate as you make it seem. I was simply informing others that if you change your transducer frequency (if possible) you can see your rigger weights. I hate to say it but I do not understand your arguments.Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  22. Set your frequency on your fish finder. I can see all my balls anytime their below 15' on my new Lowrance hds. Frequency is set at the 83 setting. 14lb fish weights have almost zero blowback even at 110' with fishhawk and flasher n fly. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. 500' of 45lb blood run and 500' of 50lb power pro, barely fits on a 800 tekota. When I say barely I mean copper has to be tight tight onto reel. Tried with 600' of backing first and had to start over. Clarion 553's are what I use on my 300 and 400 coppers. They will not hold as much as 800 tekota. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  24. Double keel and you will have no issues. Pulled a 400 copper a 300 copper and a 3 color on 1 side. You already have the otters, mine as well just improve them. All around better performance with 2nd keel. They stay tight at any speed. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  25. That scum line was a drastic temperature break. 57 right down to 49. Down temperature at 45' went from 44.6 down to 39.8 by 370'. Ended the day 8-12 with 20lb king and a mix of Lakers and steelies. All fish lost were ripping drag. Lost a mid teens king on 400 copper after a 15 min fight. My poor buddy could not get redemption on a decent fish. He lost 2 others as well. Sent from my SM-N900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
