...Great recipe, I used lake O king and everyone had a 2 bowl event, even the spouse who doesn't like lake O salmon.

I purchased online 7 flashers from coldwatertackle.com. Nice looking website etc. I received an email with shipped date and usps tracking info. I received the flashers but only 3 and packing slip said 7. The problems started when I tried to contact them via emails and phone calls. They never responded and I had to get credit call company involved and credit card company ended up giving me a credit for the missing flashers.

Sorry for all confusions newbie post. I didn't know if I should dedicate a rigger to probe only. Its a fish hawk x4d and I think I will use it as spoonfed suggested and sacriface a weight if needed. I fish kings late august/september. Thanks for all the susupport.

Just got a fish hawk and remember seeing some posts where its used by itself and not attached to any lures for fear of losing the probe. I run 4 riggers and 2 dipsey rods on my boat. It comes with the breakaway cable but i'm not sure how reliable it is. Pro and cons?

The NWS Marine report is pretty lousy for Lake O this weekend at Mexico Bay. How accurate is it. I'm coming from downstate and don't want the 4 hour ride to watch the surf. Thanks and this is a great forum.
