Thanks for your efforts! I was looking at a few on Ebay too. I haven't made it the hardware store to match it up and try to make anything like you suggested, so I dont feel I have enough info to just throw money at it quite yet. I was hoping for someone to say "Hey I got one" (yeah right). I also entertained the idea of getting a Locked bolt setup for the one side. A company makes them for 20$ I have no idea of the quality or anything...Ironically enough someone I think just posted a FF with the same knobs for sale. But of course why would anyone part with them

It appalling that they wouldn’t send me a knob on such a high end item. I’m trying to get over myself lol

Yeah and I know 70$ is just a drop in the hat in the grand scheme of things but now they just pissed me off. Also my wife is sick of hearing about the knob!! Lol

I lost a mounting knob while on vacation. It goes to a RAYMARINE 12" A128 MULTIFUNCTION Mount. When I called Raymarine they just want to sell me a whole mount kit and nothing else. They say they don’t have a part number for that individual part.....So 70$ for a knob. This is a last ditch effort to not have to pay the man.... Alternate ideas for replacement appreciated

Yes they were Native to Lake Ontario. But the present population are stocked. Now there are to many Locks and Dam's. I forget the number of obstacles but its a near impossible journey if at all..

Thanks for the report

Did you manage to get out?

Your not alone. it gets slow this time of year depending on what your fishing for. The Salmon and Browns are spawning, tough bite for most. They should be done come December. This will be my first winter I will be able to troll so I don't know when the bite picks back up but I know when they leave the creeks!

1992 Penn Yan Adventurer 202 $2500
Projoct Boat @ 451 Lake rd Dryden NY
3.0L engine runs but heats up
New OEM Starter
Canvas top needs replacement but side and backdrop are in great shape. There is more walk around room in the back of this boat than any other 20' boat I've ever seen. Great fishing platform.
Alpha one Gen II outdrive has crack from malfunctioning trim rams (see pic). Rams replaced with new but outdrive never rewelded.
I've bought a new boat so I have no desire to spend money to diagnose/fix this boat nor do I have room. Motivated seller

I also used to have a boat comparable to that. I went everywhere! I had two cannon manuals mounted on a pressure treated board. If you do it right it could be easily removable if you wanted. But the walls of your boat look to be fairly thick which is good if your looking to go more permanent mounting. I defiantly wouldn't be afraid to go with two riggers.

I caught salmon last week 100' down
When the thermocline sets up in early summer it happens high in the water column starting just under the surface. By late fall that same temp sinks, it does not rise with cooling surface temp. I would be willing to bet anything above 60' right now is 60degrees Plus (I lost my probe a month ago) . Atleast thats my theory!

The thermocline is dropping off. All those deep fish aren't just lakers. 80 and deeper is a great starting point for this time of year.

Trolled three lines, two riggers and a 200' copper. I did about 8 lakers in the first two hours and then I picked the lines up for silvers for the last hour with no luck. 200' never fired. All spoons.
