  1. Honestly being a redneck is more about how you carry yourself than the stuff you do. "Rednecks", Me being one of them, as some people call us are the kind of people who aren't gonna take any crap from others about the way we are or the different way we do things, generally they are the people you can always count on when you need a hand and don't expect anything in return and you can count on them to repay a favor or loan as fast as they can. We generally drive trucks, hunt and fish, and like you said before have been known to drink some beers around a fire from time to time, we work hard and play harder and nobodies gonna change that... Theres a lot of redneck in everybody on here and from what I've seen or read even in you.

The one thing that I don't really like that much is that people think rednecks and white trash are the same thing and label them as the same....

Had an awesome day for the first run of the season morning we had 4 hits and boat 2 about 20 lbs and one skip we found when clearing the lines for a HAWG that hammered the one flasher/fly we had out on a dipsey, of course he came off and the skip came right in. The weather came up and we pulled up right in time to race the storm and the boats to the chute. We hung out went and got lunch then went back out the same spot right out front and set up and almost instantly the Port rigger fires we got about a 15 lber there and as i dropped it in the box the starboard goes. Get about another 15 lber there and then while were putting that one back down the center and only rigger left in the water fires with another skip so he went back. We had 1 more release we didnt get in then it was game on and we got about 8 more fish in the boat. Wonddering why nothin took our hot flasher/spoon down at 114 again we pulled our stuff up to find that rigger wouldnt release when we brought it up there was another skip on it. Havent had that much fun or caught that much fish on the big O in years.

  3. I don't really think that your doing anything wrong by hunting from the ground. I saw four bucks Sunday morning from the ground all within 50 yards not presenting a shot and I shot one last night. Another thing is that if your hunting alone your missing alot of the territory where the deer can be. I hunt ten acres with three people there and I saw six does and four bucks one morning, six does and one buck the morning before and two does and a buck last night. In the same times they saw two button bucks and a doe, three does and a spike, and zero deer

  4. After reading these posts about the rage I was a little skeptical about running then as I usually run fixed blades but I got a new bowtech this year and it won't shoot fixed blades accurately. I went to the store to either get rages or shwackers (which they didn't have) so I picked up some 1.5 inch Rages. I started shoot the practice tips that come with them and was pretty stoked that they fly exactly like a field point. Well last night I smoked a 4 point and it didnt go 40 yards with an invisible entrance wound and a huge exit so IMO the rages work pretty good it looked like someone shot a red paint can after it ran about 6 steps

  5. I had an absolute slob just like the one your talkin about at sixty five yards out by victor and he was about two steps from an open sixty yard shot which I'm comfortable with. Just when I was gonna draw on him the wind changed for about ten seconds and he took off the other way slowly leaving me broken Hearted and then I had a four and six pointer both at about forty yards that I would've shot last year like you said but after seeing that monster I couldnt

  6. fishing was terrible we had one hit on a copper line with a watermelon stinger. Threw everything but the kitchen sink at them, fished from 80-15 fow bottom, top, middle, with J-plugs, spoons hot-shots, flasher flies, meat rigs, and some stick baits. The worst part was seeing all the fish launchin out of the water just before dark and not being able to get a hit. oh well guess we'll be ready to do some river fishing and to catch some browns in the spring. 7. I was meaning tomorrow yesterday just put down the wrong date. 4-6 footers tomorrow and the fishin today absolutely sucked for us. One observation I have come upon though is the fact that some charter captains think they own the lake and no rules apply to them. We had a captain of a certain boat that cut across our bow by like 12 feet then yelled and swore at us.

Hey guys I figured after getting skunked for the first time ever (went 0-5 and lost a monster. took about 75 ft of line in 10 seconds then turned back at the boat) on Ontario saturday I should join the forum for day-day reports and it looks like I chose the best one. Im 16 and I fish with my dad and uncle out of Mexico Bay and have fished Mexico since I could walk just about.
