Can anyone help direct me in the general direction of the pipelines?    Oswego area, Niagara Bar?    Just general location would be nice.   I find nothing online...

Been searching all year for the SM on the Southern Basin.   Found a few but that is it.   Where are these pipelines discussed above?

As far as aluminum  boats go Starcraft is the best rough water ride you can find.   The tradeoff is the boat will list more while trolling/fishing.

They have a decent layout but there are better quality boats available.   What are you looking for in a boat?    Stability? good in rough water?   Most room?   Bass fishing, trolling?, etc

Anyone know if the smallmouth are still close to shore?   I heard the lake just turned and near shore temp went fro 70 to 48 over the last week.   Just wondering what that will do to the bass....

Every boat is different.  Sometimes trim up, sometimes trim down.   Sometimes more weight in the front and sometimes in the back.   I have 19' Sea Nymph and I keep it trimmed up mostly in rough water and just slow down if I have to.   The steeper the V, the smoother the ride.   Starcraft is on another level with their 19' as it has a much steeper hull.

You can vertical jig them or simply drag them across the bottom.   I would stick with drop shot rather than carolina rig.   Not sure what slip shot rig is....   The drop shot will also help keep the gobies at bay.

Starcraft Fishmaster is one of the best aluminum trolling boats.   Just about any aluminum boat will work fine for the finger lakes

I hear Lake of the Isles has been better for LargeMouth lately.   Drop shotting seems to be the go to method of late.    Tournament guys are catching good bags and no longer running to the big lake so they are in the river somewhere.

Always had Curado's and had good luck.  Just switched to Lew's and happy with the switch so far.

I had read that a bimini top can save  your life if boat struck by lighting.  It will SUPPOSEDLY conduct the current around the occupants.

Beam is 100".  

Motor has a brand new lower unit which is black.   It matches the boat perfectly.
