Yes, they still do this...

Reel repairs over there are fairly inexpensive and their turn around time is also pretty good...I generally send them mine every few years and have em gone over...I think last time I had my Catalinas fixed up for under $30 a reel...

Talk to Ron over there in the service department...hes a good dude.....
