Here they are, hot off the press. I will have tickets for sale at the benefit tomorrow. I'll also be accepting PayPal ([email protected]) for those of you that can't make it and want to get in on these prizes. Just leave me a name, address, and phone number in comments, and I'll mail your stub. A $20 donation gets you a chance at one of these great prizes. Thank you again to those that have donated their time and money to help me, help my mom. My cell is 716-316-1831 if anybody has any questions

  2. Of those who are launching a boat, how deep you dipping truck and how is the debris situation getting out?

Olcott launch is very well maintained. The debris is removed daily as evidenced by the pile in front of the gas tank. Truck doesn't need to go any further in the water than jut touching with the rear tires and with the pallets and plywood build up, you won't even need to get wet. The debris in the water in front of the piers has been spotty. Sometimes there's a minefield out there, sometimes it's not too bad. Just be cautious always this year for debris while running around, as it is a symptom of the high water

  3. We are up to:

    3 salmon charters
    1 walleye
    1 walleye/ bass/ or salmon charter. (3) okuma coldwater/ white diamond combos
    (2) $250 lake tackle baskets
    Gambler lake trout tackle package
    $250 voodoo tackle and merchandise

and I'm still working on a few more.

My goal was 12 high dollar prizes and we're at 11. I can't thank my fellow fishermen enough for showing so much support. I am truly humbled by the donations and interest shown thus far.

  4. I'm hoping to make it out tomorrow and/or Saturday morning. From what I've heard lately, you have a couple choices. The fish were out over deep water (350-400) last week. There's always fish out there, usually two year olds, coho, and steelhead. I've also talked to a couple guys that said some of the 3 year olds moved in to the 150-175' range, anywhere from the Niagara bar to the power plant. Good luck!!!

  5. Can we buy chance tickets and not be there, would shipping to the lucky one doable at the winners expense? If so I'd be interested in a few tickets.

Yes. I would even do a live Facebook drawing so everyone (that has Facebook) can see the winners. I want to be able to include those of you that may not live close enough to come to the benefit but might be interested in winning a boatload of tackle or a free fishing charter.

  6. The launch itself is nice. The docks might be a little tall for smaller boats but they launch some big boats there. The problem is the design of driving in and out around the medians and the lack of prep space. I'm quick with my boat, in and out in a few minutes but if you like to take your time to put things away and start a cover on, good luck during a busy day. And those medians make it tough with my 19' boat and trailer to not hit the curb. I couldn't imagine bringing a 30' boat in there on a trailer

  7. Hi guys,

Most of you know by now about the benefit June 4th in Olcott to help my mom out with her bills due to breast cancer treatments and surgeries. I've been slacking the last few weeks in helping my sisters prepare for this due to my own diagnosis and treatment of stage 3 colon cancer. However, Greg and Jamie at ASB Tackle have been securing fishing charter donations and even donating about $400-500 worth of tackle themselves. I also have a fantastic basket with $200-300 worth of gear and gift certificates from Voodoo Custom Tackle. I wanted to see how many of you would be interested in purchasing a ticket for $20 and a chance to win one of these great prizes. I would do the drawing around July 4th to allow enough time to sell tickets. Also if anybody is interested in attending, I have tickets for the benefit as well

    Thanks guys.

  8. Well, we are less than two weeks away from the benefit for my mom. I'm still actively seeking donations and gift baskets. We are holding it at the Olcott Firehall on Sunday, June 4th. 1-5pm. I have tickets for sale, if anybody would like to attend. Tickets are $20. We have all sorts of donations. Salmon fishing charter out of Wilson aboard Dublin Up, numerous tackle baskets, tools, salon gift certificates, kids stuff, dinner gift certificates, a 55" Smart TV, etc.

She has been taking the chemotherapy like a champ and only has a few treatments left before she will get a much needed break before surgery. I just hope we can raise enough to help her with all the added expenses that come with this terrible disease.

  9. Nice fishing guys. We had a chance the first day with a 17 and a 15 lb King but dropped a nice one on deep diver with meat and couldn't get bit after. Luck of the draw on day two, cashed in at 2nd place. Went 5 for 8 today but no size as our big fish was 10.5 lbs. I love this tournament too and after cashing $2k for big fish last Thursday and Friday for the WHI, I broke about even for the two tourneys which is always a good thing. One thing is for sure, the weather was not nice to a couple guys fishing in a 19' open bow this weekend. We had some good laughs, caught two trees, lost some tackle, and learned a few things as well. Can't wait to do it again

  10. Chris,
It was an absolute pleasure fishing the Wilson Invitational with you and team Dublin Up. Thanks again for reeling in that 25lb 3oz King that won us the $1,000 fish of the day for thurday and friday. (thats why they call you King!)  I had a great time with many laughs all 3 days we were out.(espically the coho chug that shark man did!) Hopefully we all could do it again next year!
                                                         Thanks, Mike

I had a blast too Mike. Already can't wait until next year.
