Thanks. I have to try 720, I played around with it in the ice today but I had it set on 1080. I did notice that the battery drained REAL fast. I guess I should turn off the wifi after it's set up.

I just got the GoPro Hero 3+ Black Edition for Christmas and I can't wait to start using it! I have a few questions for you guys that are already pros at using it.

What settings take the best videos?

Which accesories are must haves?

What is the best software for video editing? Oh yea, I have both PC & Mac but probably want to use the Mac.

Any other tips you might deem helpfull would be great too!

I'm heading up to Lake George this weekend to do some laker and landlocked trolling. I was told the smallmouth fishing is great this time of year in 20'-30' of water. I'm not a big bass fisherman so any advice would be awesome! I have a bunch of Senko's but in that depth wouldn't it take forever to get down there wacky rigged. Would you drop shot it or lindy rig them? What else would you use? Like I said, I'm not a huge bass guy!

I have the Navionics app too, it's awesome. I like having it as a back up if the GPS on my boat takes a dump.

I have the same question, how are the bugs with the blue lights? How do you mount the Coastal light strips? I read one post that used double sided tape. Can you screw them in?

I put a small barrel swivel at the end of the main line and attach the leader to that.  At the end of the leader, at the stick bait end, I use a Spro snap.  Makes changing stick baits quick and easy.

Good job!! We're there a lot of boats out today?

I had plans to go up to Mexico and fish this Fri - Sun. From some of the reports I'm reading it looks like the lake should lay down by then. What is everyone hearing or thinking?? I have a 4 1/2 hr ride up and I'd hate to drag the boat up and stare at it in the driveway all weekend. Any thoughts would be helpful.

What type of downriggers are these for or are they universal?
