I heard that the flea flicker and the sea flee from blood run ain’t even working!!
-
I assumed they were talking pinch pad type??
-
I know this isn’t what your looking for but tractor supply had very thin cable and the correct crimps for the wire, I asked how do you crimp them and the guys said he puts it in his vise and smashes the whole works??

Excellent Johnny, those Canadian trips are hard to beat for sure. It really does spoil YA, unless you live near Erie. Congrats on your trip!!!.

Thanks for the great post!! Hoping the fish don't go to the extreme depths with this heat. Next week highs in the high 70's low 80's. Coming up Sunday of this coming week. Gathering info from helpful reports such as yours!! Thanks PAP!!

Great post, lots of info. Hope everything stays status quo for another week, but with this heat it’s going to change, usually the warm temps push the fish deeper. That’s ok also just easier to get to down to!!

You have any good blocks, laying around?? 305 or 350, cylinders don’t need to be perfect, getting bored 0.10 over, don’t want to go more than that, have 10 over pistons.

Excellent job guys nothing better than a pic of a young child holding a nice fish!!! Congrats Paw, for making a special moment in jrs life!!!

WOW, if I weren’t so F’d up physically and (mentally) I’d buy this boat in a heartbeat!! Hell I have twice that in a 22fter only 2 years newer!! Nice boat, I really feel bad for the owner, just an over sight on depth for docking. Maybe this is one of these messed up years for depth?? Maybe a extension on the dock might be a saving grace?? Either way it’s a thought?? Also the size might be a pricing factor, I’ve taken notice that up to 24-28fters are still in the get your price range, then there’s a lull in the prices until you get into the yacht club folks where money isn’t a factor. Good luck either way you decide to go.

Yeaw that’s odd, although there were some pics over the past few years like yours, but not a gill plate mia, definitely different. Would like to see some of the answers to this one myself!!

Very cool!! That’s some amazing colors you got going on!!! They look super!!
-
Awesome, Awesome!! Any more proof than that one doesn’t need!! To bad you can’t make this way more publicized, for those who think there’s not a problem with catch & release!!!

Does your father own a cruise ship?? WOW that’s some serious drinking of fuel!!

How in the heck do you lose equipment with a pinch pad style?

No wonder I can’t catch a fish all these years I’ve been tying my flies to the release????

Absolutely great job, those older guys know what’s going on and they can accomplish the job with the bare minimum of equipment.

You have a pm.

Was the boat used in salt water?? It mostly depends on how the owner took care of it during the winter months and if it sat in the water all year, (slipped) and if it was properly covered during the time of not being used. If your serious about buying this boat I’d find a professional boat surveyor, it will cost a few hundred $$$ but you will know exactly what conditions the boat is in and you can wiggle the price down enough to cover the cost of the survey. I didn’t do this, and still paying for my ignorance, but I thought I knew enough about boats. LOL was I wrong.

WOW, that’s a good deal, X2 on the above comments about the cords and the 2 riggers, it gets nutty once you start putting out dipsey rods and a chute rods rigger rod and a free sliders.

I just used a simple return to center switch, mine were non-auto stop

Its a 7 mile run from Henderson state launch. I'm not sure about coming out of Stoney. I went out of there before but it's always shallower there, and one time I came in there from the wind picking up on the lake and bottomed out!! If it's calm yea right ill go out of there but for 45 min ill stick with Henderson. JMO.
Is there a new "super" flea out this year.
