    Good discussion. I spent a lot of time trolling g in Lake Erie out of Erie PA or Barcelona with my old boat. Had 2 down riggers both with black round balls. One side had a prism silver stickers on the fin. It was interesting to note that there were days when one worked better than the other.     When I get back to dock and preparing to clean fish I take a pair of scissors and cut the gills on, each side. I, put fish back in, live well to bleed out. Fillet texture is good and no blood in fillet. Been doing it this way for years. Sent from my SM-G900V using Lake Ontario United mobile app
