Jason,
It wasn't me....maybe someone has a photo somewhere with the trailer in the background. Pretty easy to blow up a plate on digital photos.

Here is my 2 cents...... It all depends on what you are buying and price here is my advice:
If you are spending 60-100% of value of the boat new.....must survey
30%-60% of value of the boat new..... survey so you know exactly what is wrong/right with it
<30% of value of the boat new.....dont waste your money on a survey and plan to get what you pay for....that is not necessarily a bad thing as you could get years of service out of the boat. If you are not a DIYer you will not want this level of boat and plan on spending $5-15K on engines at some point. DO NOT borrow money to buy this level boat.
The best boat always is the one you paid cash for!!!!

Use those Blue Sea guidelines....sounds like you could use a couple of ACR's the short easy way would be to tie the ACR and house (3 rd) battery to one of your starters. The best way is to tie it to both which will require 2 relays.

Hahaha, no, while in his store and buying something. We used to always BS in the mornings and afternoons. Didn't matter for me, as I always got gas from him anyways, and was always topping off, even when I probably didn't have to.LOL
If it is calm I would run all the way out to the 31 line at about 4:30 a.m., and set up in 600 plus feet of water. A wise old retired charter captain, that used to run one of the "Oaks" marinas, told me "there are always good fish out at the 31 line, if you can get out there." Said he would always head there with his clients first thing in the morning, and be back with his happy clients and their limit of big steelhead and salmon just as everyone else was heading out onto the lake. I will have to say, I have never done badly way out there 12 to 13 miles off shore. I guess it all depends on the weather, how big your boat is, and how much gas you are willing to burn. Good luck, and let us know how you do.
Always thought the same thing about the first mile of the Lake....like that old captain,,,,as time goes by we forget the days the rods did not pop and remember the 4 man limits in an hour!!! Truth is both were rare, but either zone is productive most of the time. I just always felt foolish running 15 miles when I could fill the box in 60 fow.

The multicolor line is metered power pro....I ran one with 250' and the other with 300' of copper.

Lead core now
Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
I have not used them for lead core but I'm sure they would work fantastic.

They are the power version 50 LCA for big dipsy or copper fish. I ran 200-300 copper on these.

I dont think you have to paint it right away....just get it painted before too long....but you do not have to paint any part below deck.

I just redid a few floors with a product from Home Depot. It is PVC. Roughed up the surface with 80 grit and used Total Boat epoxy. Laid several layers of glass on the skin, adhered the PVC to it.
For the floor surface, I prefer a product called "Tred Tex", I apply it to wet paint by blowing it out of my hand with compressed air.
I have used used the floor paint with the rubber in it. I did not like it, I had it in my small boat and the rubber pieces would pull out of the paint, get in the bilge, not a great product.

I agree Capt. Rich....I ran a 280 Coho for 8 years...the boat fished great! This TM is a true pleasure to fish on.

Newest Salmon Stocking info. DEC. Ouch!

Somehow this tread went from DEC to Atlantics....Here is one of the largest I had the privilege of slipping a net under. Over my 30 years fishing LO, I would estimate a total of maybe 50 landed. Not a one of them in over 150 feet of water. The only thing more rare than an Atlantic is an Atlantic out deep.
