The best king bite for me is always the first couple hours of daylight. No matter if it's a full moon or not. Good luck

Nice job! Love the Lake Erie walleye reports
-
Maybe it's just me but I tend to get bigger fish on the f/f than spoons. Only been out a coupe times this year but have got 4 fish over 20 pounds and all on flasher and flies.
-
Thanks for the report prime time where did you put the boat in? I'm heading up Saturday to Erie. Thanks for the report
-
Not the best fishing my any means but you aren't going to catch the screaming kings if you aren't on the water. Good luck!
-
Slow bite for us. We boated 7 fish the biggest was of a rig down deep around 7.5 lbs. Did not mark many bait or fish. Good luck to all

For 1 dipsy I tend to run a number 2 set. If I run 2 per side a 1 and 3 setting will work. And yes I have had better luck if they are different sizes but have got away with the same sizes as well. Good luck

300 feet of copper will get you down around 66 feet. A spoon will probably go a little deeper than a spinny because of less pull.
-
Not sure how much you are looking to spend but I run the shimano tekota 600 with a line counter. They run around $185 but work great. As far as a pole just about any dipsy pole that is 9' will work. I would recommend probably a medium heavy action rod.

We fished from 165 to 290. The best was around 240. 300 cooper hot early with a spiny and fly and then the riggers with spoons worked good in the afternoon.

Out off the red can 8 for 10 with 3 kings over 20. Lake is like glass but has slowed down for us the past coupe of hours.
-
Heading up in the morning. Should i put in at wilson or the niagara river?
-
Thanks for the help guys! Going to give it a go this weekend will have a report to follow.
-
Wondering if anyone has fished around the red can. Planning on making a trip within the next week. Thanks for the help.

If you're just looking for the roller for the tip of the pole sutton spoons in Naples New York use to put them on.

Always the first hole the second one is for very slow speeds. i beleieve its for under 1.5 mph. Have had great success on both the holes on the back

Great report, glad to see that someone is catching those stagers. Oak orchard has been dead the last couple of days!
-
It's whipping pretty hard at oak orchard right now. East wind 10-15 mph solid 3-4 footers
-
Lake is pretty bumpy here at the oak. Fishable but rough trolling back to the west. Good luck everyone!
-
Great report Yankee, what kind of paddle have you been running with your familiar bite?
-
Thanks for the help guys will try a different brands and put some salt on it. Thanks again Bryan

Tried using cut bait this weekend but could not get it to stay together. When I put a fresh piece out it would work but after an hour it would fall apart. Wondering if anyone has a brine or tips to have it hold up a little better. Thanks

Depending on the reel I like to use a spro swivel. As long as the swivel goes through the guide you are all set.
