  1. Do you have any idea how many feet the ramp extends under water?

The ramps only extend to the end of the docks.

At the ends of the ramps there are cement like railings to help prevent you from backing the trailer in past the end of the ramps. If you back in over these railing, you may have one helX of a time getting back out without damaging your trailer.

I saw one guy last year rip the whole axle off of his trailer.

  2. I believe that this Pro Edition, which is the 9th copyright, is the latest and last printing of this highly popular Troller's Bible.

It has the new plastic pages. I had it spiral bound to save it's integrity and make it much easier to use.

It is in like NEW condition.

I am asking $95.00 which includes postage to the lower 48 states.

    If interested, please PM me.

    Thanks,

    George

  4. I use TX-22's with lead core all the time.

Sometimes I let it all out and and clamp on the mono backing and other time I just partially let it out and clamp on the core. I have release set very tight so it does not release or run down the line.

I usually fish alone so it can be a little tricky to get the board off with a large fish on. If there are two of you, it's no problem at all IMO. Otherwise,  I have never had a problem with this method. The core is still in great shape.

  5. Quite day for me as well.

Had (3) rods (I was alone) out; rigger with slider, wire with SD & fly and 5 core with crank.

Setup in about 120 feet with some screen action and trolled out to 280 feet with almost no screen.

Changed rigger spoons, wire SD & fly and core crank after about 1 1/2 hours. Headed into shallower water.

Picked up (2) small Kings 8- 10 pounds on Carbon 14 off of rigger at 65 over 140.

Wind picked up slightly from East and that was it. Still decent screen but no action.

  6. I have 2 of the Bert's.mthe only thing that I don't like is that the black plastic/rubber cap slips off and unfortunately I finally lost one today in the drink! Anyone know if I can order a replacement? Gonna glue them this time as I should have before!

Last time I looked they had them in Gander Mtn.

  7. Honeoye looked like a bowl of Split Pea Soup. The entire lake was green with small pods (the size on pin heads) floating all over.

If you picked your line up off the water it left a trial.

Caught one nice Large Mouth and left after a hour or so.

What a mess my boat was. I had to wash it off when I got home. Luckily it hadn't hardened on before I got to it.

Now I remember why I haven't been there in over 3 years.

  8. Fished Canandaigua on Monday AM for 3 1/2 hours.

Dropped in around 80 feet in front of German Bros. Trolled south weaving in/out form 80 to 150 feet.

Trolled to about Wegmans' place and crossed over to Pelicans point and headed north for about 2 miles.

Picked up one Laker, about 7 pounder, half way to Wegmans'. Hit a free slider watermelon spoon on a 48 rigger.

Had one other hit on rigger but nobody home.

Ran rigger at 40-50 feet with slider, 5 core and wire w/SD & fly.

Marked a ton of fish from 20 feet down to about 50 feet and a few bottom dwellers.

Picked up a small amount of fleas on wire and core. Not bad but they're starting.

  9. This is a slightly used Honda Outboard Propeller. It is model # C3X 11.1x14 HQ AL Prop.

I had this prop on a 2012 40 HP 4-stroke EFI Honda for a few weeks but decided on another pitch for my application.

The blades are in perfect/new condition. The only marks in the paint are on the edge of the exhaust hub from tools used to remove the cotter pin and nut. Please see attached pictures.

Included is the original Honda box that the prop was shipped in.

  11. I know there are plenty of guys fishing for walleye, and I know there are plenty of people reading this forum yet nobody speaks up.  Sportsmen need to do a better job educating themselves and realize how fish management resources are allocated.  You can bet Otisco will get its fish....I make sure the DEC knows how successful thier stockings are and do everything I can to increase the catch rates for the lake....like sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  This thread needs to be moved to the walleye forum so it gets read by the individuals that need this info!

This is the Walleye Forum. This is a thread within that forum.

  12. I fished West out of I-bay this AM. From Russel to about a mile west of Crescent Beach in 20-30 feet. First time in that area for me. Most of the water was reasonably clear after about 1/2 mile west of the river, especially compared to off of I-bay. I went out 3 miles from I-bay and was still in brown water at 70 feet deep.

The bite was a little slow but consistent. A fish about every 1/2 hour. All Salmon, biggest about 15# and a couple three skippers. Sticks off in-lines (both fire tiger pattern) one out 100 and another on single core. Rigger at 18' pulling a DW spoon in Bloody Nose. Every rig caught fish.

I purchased it new at West Marine on July 2, 2012. It is under factory warranty until July 2, 2014. The original sales receipt will be included.

It is flawless and has never been exposed to the elements. My boat is garage stored year around. The original box and all the accessories are included.

    I paid $169.95 plus tax. I'm asking $89.00

If interested please contact me through LOU or call me on my cell at 585-721-0636

  14. I also ave a Rebel 1650 XL Sport.

I have (4) Bert's Ratchet Rod Holders mounted to Bert's tracks. The tracks are held on by Lund aluminum down rigger mounting attachments, which I purchased from my local Lund dealer. These fit into the Lund gunnel track system. I modified the aluminum rigger holders by cutting down the width to the same size as the Bert's tracks and drilling and tapping a few 1/4-20 holes for the track bolts. See the attached pics.

This is rock solid. If you grab a rod holder and pull real hard the whole side of the hull will flex just slightly.

These rod holders are great for running in-line boards and dipsy divers. You just grab the rod and tilt it up/back towards the boat and pull the rod straight up and out.

I tried some Traxstech mounts but they were no wheres near as solid and they marked/removed some paint on my gunnels. They had a lot of sharp edges.

  15. I went to this show every year up until about 5 years ago.  It is well worth the trip but very crowded on the week ends.  One of the big differences between this show and most others is that many manufacturers such as Shimano, Penn, Diawa,  etc; will have booths there.  You can talk directly to the manufacturer's reps, see and discuss all of their new tackle.  Lots of tackle dealers offering deals too.  I recommend to go if you can.

Are you referring to the one in Rockland County or the one in Hamburg?

    Thanks!
