We went out for a few hours this morning with my friend Capt Harry Powers of Salmon Heaven Lodge and his daughter Chloe... weather wasn't exactly cooperating with us but we managed to boat a few and lost one on 400 copper before we could grab the rod..The highlight of the day was watching 9 year old Chloe fight and land a big King... It's been a good couple of days in the bay. Most our fish have been coming from 160-200fow and down 75'-110'. Slide divers and 500 copper with flasher fly combos have been producing most of the fish. 10 color core with a diehard spoon has got us a few browns and an occasional laker. Fished Cayuga for the first time today with my friend Bill.. Used all my Lake O gear and ended up doing ok. We headed out of Long Point and shot straight across and started trolling south..We found fish in 120-230 FOW running Riggers 80 down and 120 down stacked..White flashers were the best for us but we hit a few using DW spoons and Stinger Spoons..We ran the flashers 30ft behind the ball and the spoons stacked 85ft back..It was a bit rough out there today so we called it around 9:30 and headed in...
