Great trout fishing in late October and November. When I fish Browns in the fall I'm usually the only boat around. Never caught a salmon that late in the year though.

Nothing that I've ever found, if you head straight to the red can the shallowest you might hit is 8 feet or so.

Always game in Niagara county. 2013 was last year of fin clipping pen fish. How many clipped fish did you see this year? I saw maybe 5-10? This was the year class of pen fish that were in their pens when all the south shore ports saw VHS/winter kill Gizzard Shad die-offs in spring. Pier fishing should be slooooow if those pen fish became infected. [emoji30][emoji30]

I caught 2 clipped fish, and over 60 naturals this year. I was speechless at the ratio. I assumed it would be about 50-50. Hope this trend continues so we don't have to worry about stocking in the future.

My year was good, got a 19 pound king in May which according to some guys is rare. June and July were great then August sucked and September has not been much better. As long as I have one or two good days I'll be happy.

Just a heads up that they are working on the ramp at the state park and it's closed until August 22. Why they're doing the work on a weekend is sort of mind boggling. Looks like Fort Niagara or Olcott for me.

I have this problem as well, I was gonna try to fill it in with a tig weld then grind it flat but havent had time to attempt it. Dont really know of anything else to try besides a puddy like JB Weld or something.

That's what's really sad about a smaller company. When 1 person is the passion behind the company & they pass so does the company.
