I have it on my pursuit. I have two outboards on the transom of the boat no bracket. The transducer is on the starboard side right on the corner of the boat. It works great there for my divers and 300 copper.

This year should be real bad for lamprey bites on fish because of the real cold long winter we had. The cold makes the fish go to the bottom of the lake for warmth along with all the other fish in the lake and that goes along with the lampreys.

It is a fuel problem for sure. Sounds like you need to change out the primer bulb.

Is this rod an IMX?

I would read the manual. There is probably an adjust to be made. Also the magnetic compass that it uses may not be in the center of the boat and as low in the boat as possible or electrical interference.
