  1. My Father passed away few days ago and facing some difficult times and decisions now, boat has to go.

Pretty sure some of you are familiar with the famous Pegassus.

1987 Sylvan Offshore 22. Boat has an aluminum hull.
3L I/O Mercruiser fully serviced two months ago at Pisces Marine in Oakville, have receipt(1660$).
New Bellows, New linkage, New Gimbal bearing, fresh oil in engine and drive, new fuel filter with water drain etc...
Comes with a spare prop, anchor, lights, CD Stereo, VHF Atlantis radio, 12v cigarette outlet, has some life jackets, etc.

2006 8HP Four stroke Honda outboard, has charger built in.Remote throttle cable. Outboard is hooked up to boat's fuel supply.
    Garelick Stainless Steel Kicker bracket.

3 Canon Mag10a electric downriggers, 3 weights-2 sharks, 1 ball. One of the downriggers needs a new switch. Motor works fine.
    Big Jon rod holders.
Eagle GPS + Lowrance HDS 7 Fishfinder/Chartplotter with Two transducers 50/200 and 83/200. Comes with Navionics card for Great Lakes. Bought both month ago at Radioworld, have receipt/warranty.

Boat has a full canopy with windows, it is old, but it works.Floor is solid

Sits on a 2004 Tracker/Trailstar galvanized two axle trailer with LED lights and hydraulic brakes.Trailer has boat guides.

Everything on the boat works, it is a 1987 boat and it is in original condition, so expect faded paint etc.
The hull has no dents, cracks, etc.
It will get about a galon of water after a full day of fishing.
It is a very deep boat, ideal for fishing Great Lakes and similar rough waters. The transom is 43 inches.
Boat has two fuel tanks. It will do about 30MPH (SOG) at full throttle.
Tires on the trailer are in good condition. Fuel gauges work intermittently, might need rewiring.

Will take all interested that come with cash in hand for a sea trial anytime, there is nothing hidden, no defects and boat is sea worthy. Or if interested in seeing it run in the driveway bring muffs.
I have two recent videos of it on Youtube, please message me if interested seeing them.
Will include a season pass for Lakefront boat launch in mississauga.

Might consider selling all my trolling gear with it, four rods, around 100 spoons (nks, moonshine, shoe horns, etc) flies, about 10-15 SDs, few aggitators, swivels. Will come up with a full list in few days.

6000 for the boat, trailer, honda
add 550$ for Lowrance 7 with Navionics and both 50/200 and 83/200 transducers.

  2. Today while coming to a stop (at the correct address) at my house i heard a pop. When i backed the boat onto the driveway and started unhooking it i have noticed brake fluid leaking right underneath the piston. Im assuming a seal popped. How to troubleshoot that ? Here are pics.

    Thanks.

  3. My 2008 did Exactly the same thing. I almost bought a new starter:) it ended up being corroded terminals at the battery and boat side. Wire brush took care of the problem. Worked like a champ for a year and a half till i sold it. Btw, my motor clicked etc... Trim worked. Check battery + connectors x2

  5. Be tough to sell now .lol

What? The boat or riggers? Riggers will be sold as non working. And i will make sure the person buying them KNOWS that they are NON WORKING. As per boat, if i sell it anytime I WILL MAKE SURE all issues are stated when selling it, there is nothing hidden and everything is working well.

Somehow i dont see the guy who bought my Crestliner calling me or compaining about anything. Hes very happy and enjoying his new to him boat.
