Went out today for few hours around 10, started 80fow to 200. Tried a bunch of spoons without any luck. Water was 61 at surface. After my Mag10A died i went back around 3. Anybody knows who can troubleshoot and fix my Mag10A?

X2 on checking ground. If nothing helps get ferrite snap on chokes and put these on affected unit's wires.

This is what they installed afterwards, they said its better then the rubber one, one on the outdrive is also solid not rubber, any thoughts?

Went out yesterday. Took my wifi only tablet,It has gps built in. Worked like a charm, no issues with Navionics either.

Hands down Standard Horizon if handhelds. Call radioworld.ca and talk to Leo, get a cable that will allow you to connect a handheld to a regular antenna on the boat. Assuming you STILL want only handheld. You will get about 40% more range than just handheld with its built in antenna. Tell him ve3plo sent you, he will take care of you

Will be purchasing a new Lowrance unit soon. Majority of my fishing will be inlake Ontario, 150+ fow. Which transducer should i get? I will be getting Hds 7.

Well, i have had it... Worked half of the night to make sure everything is ready. Got the kicker up and running, got the downriggers hooked upwith AC plugs etc...

Get to the ramp at 8 pm after work with my kid and my buddy, we're ready to drop it in the water...i go down to check the plug and i see the fuc&ing rubber in the outdrive came off the part thats on the boat. Dont know what it is or what it does but its off and the boat is not going in the water. Its about 3" in diameter and has these clamps at the ends. The funny thing is with the outdrive up, i think this rubbber is toi short.

Sk8, did that on my crestliner i had. This honda has these plastic. Easy to cut? Will do it anyway.

Rolmops: outdrive had to have shifter cable, boot, gimball bearing etc replaced. I also had gear oil replaced and the impeller-was cracked 2k into it and i didnt have it on the water yet
