  1. Look at Cisco fishing systems. Their tracks are better structurally then any other brands. A few other improvements over other brands also. Surprisingly cheaper then Bert's too. Their holders are on the spendy side but you get what you pay for. Arguably the best out there. The cannon dual axis holders are nice. The Bert's ratcheting holders seem to have the most hours on them in the field... Lots of options just depends on preference.

  4. I was up on Oneida last weekend and stumbled on these two Biggie Smalls back to back within a minute on two adjacent tip-ups. Allowed me to do the double "tourney pose" before tossing them back in the hole! The big one on the left was 21", on the right 19 3/4". Gotta love their fight!

  5. Would be a cool concept, PAP electronic power steering assist when main motor isn't on...

9.9hp kicker alternators usually around 6amp, 15hp kicker alternators usually around double 12amp. As long as kicker is running and wired properly your batteries will stay charged.

  6. Related to the intended topic... This is real. I am a Sr Design Engineer that works for a large defense company in the southern tier. I have watched MANY colleagues over the past few years sell their NY home and move their families over the border to PA. My wife and I are looking to do the same this year. Those that still live in NY in this area, many will travel the extra distance to PA to get gas and groceries, not just due to the lower cost, but so that NY doesn't get their grimy hands on the sales taxes. NY is driving its own citizens out of this state... For those that stay, the burden will be on you as the property taxes and other tax hikes increase... That's not something that I want to stick around and wait for. It's a true shame as this state has a lot to offer the avid outdoorsmen...

  7. Fleet tracker: Thanks for the free advice...Wish I knew what the heck your talking about...Sounds like your so tough your going to take over the country..Lots of luck..By the way I wouldn't ask a blow hard like you for the time of day...

You wouldn't know what I'm talking about and I never expected you to. Intelligent conversations with people like you are pointless. I have fought for and served this Country and have spent time in Afghanistan... You're welcome! I wouldn't give you the time of day if you asked so glad we're on the same page on one thing.

  8. DONT TREAD ON ME!!

Rolmops and 3feathers - keep drinking the koolaid and follow that herd of sheep. You must enjoy that tread pattern being branded on your faces. This country is full of FREE Americans who will not stand idle while elitists force widespread regulation and restriction on our FREE lives. You both are the minority on this Forum and are strangely proud of it. Do yourself a favor and stop now before you eliminate any possibility of us fine like-minded LOU American fisherman and hunters from responding to your inquiries/questions going forward. I know I for one, do not associate with people like you.

  9. where did u get the rocket launcher. I like that for sure. Also like the light u have mounted on it. One thing my islander doesn't have is enough interior lights or courtesy lights..actually it doesn't have any other than in the cabin

Looks like more quality work from Tony at Great Lakes Planers. He does great work!!

  10. Maybe I got a bad pair, but my 12lb torpedo's from the same place had horrific blowback. I think they 'walk' side to side terribly and don't track very true at all. They will sit in the garage from here on out.

  11. I've kind of wondered the same thing at times. Some spoon manufacturers sell their products with split rings and some don't. The split ring has got to change the spoon's action while trolled... Whether that's a positive or a negative change is unknown to me. Depends on the spoon I guess.

M4 (.223/5.56) is my choice for coyote. Hornady Superformance 53g 200yd zero. Allows you to make cocky head shots like this one.

Or nicely placed shots like this.

  13. Hell of a nice boat that's fully rigged and well equipped with top shelf equipment! I would see her when going out and coming in when I launched out of Lansing Park this past year. I think I drooled a few times... Almost ran my boat into the break wall staring! Haha

Good luck in your sale! Just Curious - What year is it?

  14. Congrats on passing your test.

As for the fires in the dog house, you run an outboard so you're cool.

There is a setup you can use that makes sense. It's a heat triggered sensor fire extinguisher that you place in the doghouse. Many soldiers owe their lives to that little gimmick

This is a Halon Automated Fire Suppression System. Usually just called a 'Halon'. Definitely should be high on your safety list for those with I/O's or Inboards.
