I watched two boats launch last night at the north ramp. One hit bottom while putting in on the south side of the north ramp. Both used their electric trolling motors to leave the dock for deeper water.

Not a good place to launch. I spoke with the NYS Parks individual onsite. They are installing floating docks at the south ramp. They are also installing a platform which will connect the south launch to the north launch. Sounds like a long overdue upgrade which won't be completed until next year. Possibly springtime I am told.

Under Login Name at upper right, select My Settings.

Then select Email & Pwd on the left sidebar.

Make changes and Save.

Reason for selling - I found that my top, when folded down, would ride on the pull-pins of the rod holders. Will have to go with the lift and turn style instead.

Selling because my top hits the pull-pin when it is down so they won't work for me.

Maybe torque steer which would tend to make the engine turn to one side. Trim tab adjustment would compensate for torque steer.

I used 2 on my previous fiberglass boat. Worked well. Easy on, easy off. As previous poster stated just be careful if you are concerned about easy theft. I just took them out and put them in the locked cuddy. Never had a problem.

I had the same question a few years ago so I contacted EZ-Pass and they told me I had to go through the manned lanes at the toll and they ring up an extra axle on the charge.

Is that one of the marinas on East Lake Rd?

Conesus Lake boat trailer parking. Can anyone point me in the direction of a location or facility to park a boat trailer for a week while the family is renting a cottage at Conesus Lake in July. We have been going to the lake on an annuaI outing with the grandchildren for seven years and the place we were staying is no longer for rent. We have selected another place and it does not have a spot for the trailer. I know there is no “weekly†parking at the state parks launch. Any information is appreciated.
