these are electric start motors...that means they charge your batteries as you troll, so things like fishfinders, lights and electric downriggers don't leave you with a dead battery on the lake.

I went to Sutton today...

they don't plate anymore, they send them out to be plated

they didn't know what they had or want to take an order/request

it was really sad that a treasure such as this fine lure may soon be lost

to make matters worse, most other manufactures have such poor quality

I watch as leatherstocking lures went out and the machines where sold

I was told someone bought it just for the name, its a shame as I would consider producing these lures

does anyone have any good substitutes for these lures???

it is pretty apparent in the pics which ones are the long shaft and which ones are the short......seems a lot of people are looking...but want them given to them

i'm new to lake Ontario, what where they hitting on?

any tips for setting up? like length of line out, lure type/color?

what line test used?

I have a new motorguide DS-82 bow mount trolling motor.

it has the gator mount, 82# of thrust and a 65" shaft, and digital servo steering..

it has the little motor in the top that steers it, not the cable that turns if you don't keep your foot on the pedal.

i'm looking to get $500 for it
