Just used the plugs and wired them 12 volts IMO !
Easier to convert broken rigger connection to household plug and install an outlet. Did this with a friends pontoon boat for riggers. Plug tucked away and installed long power cord so we did not have to mess with wiring under the floor to keep it clean. only have riggers on boat when fishing works great.

Thanks, Okuma makes a wire rod. I heard good reviews. I am leaning in that direction

I had a 210 Sportcraft for years. I miss that boat everyday. I fished Lake O for several years with it. It fished all the water that I could handle. I had an 18 inch bag. I used it very little. I used it for trolling lakers to sloooooow everything down. At time with down current I had to toss it,. I never put a kicker on. One less thing to deal with on a smaller boat. I know guys that love the kicker, but I just never been fond of them. Yes they will run cheaper. I am one that requires everything as simple as possible. I am not the sharpest tack in the box. I do miss the 210 Sportcraft and I would only recommend a small drift bag. Tight lines and now you have me looking for a boat again.

Back in the 80's J-Plugs was the go to. Times have changed

I think it is just quiet in the water and that helps. Up here in Maine at time the big fish get ball shy (I think). So I will run 2 color of lead core behind my ball. At times that is the answer. So I think the stealth of the chute rod so far back all by its lonesome helps. Just my thoughts.

Let me say from past practice. I am no means a professional and I will never say I am. I am an "barn yard high risk mechanic". Now with all that out there and no great expectations from my infromation I will continue.
Yes what everyone has said is spot on. get everything cleaned up and continue with preventive care.
Ok. What caused me issues. Check your carb for little black balls. We went backawrds in the process and found this last. I found that our fuel line was breaking down. Even the filler hose. This hose break down was causing these 'black balls of rubber" to clog the carbs. We found this after the first carb cleaning. So we had to pull things appart again after the fuel lines were replaced. We even found this in the tank. Figuring it came from the filler line. We did this 4 years ago and things have been good since. Probably will have issues next time in it now im bragging a little. Just a I wanted to toss out there. I hope yours is just a simple cleaning. best of luck

I have run both fixed and free sliding this year and on more then one occasion when I was bringing the line in the free slider ended up all twisted up around the bottom bait. Most times I was running a spin doctor and blamed that. Is there a way for that not to happen? Don’t let the slider go all the way down? It was a pain because it gets really twisted together.
I only run cheaters when I am running a spoons off the ball. This allows the cheater to slide all the way to the bottom spoon after slider is hit. Not allowing this to slide to the "end of the line" will create a twist and mess as you found.

What a boat. An amazing rig. Oh how I wish I had the funding. I have heard stories of stringer and transom issues. This looks super clean so I expect not such issues with this dream boat. Best of luck with the sale and your health
