Appreciate the thoughts.  Was in a rush and my kid forgot something on the boat just as we were leaving and moved it to the back seat from the deck.  I know I should have double and triple checked…🤦‍♂️

My special mate tackle box blew out of my boat on the way home 3/16/24.  If anyone finds one on the side of the road or sees it id appreciate it if you pm me.  Took 96 & 17.

100% legit! I know him and he’s a straight shooter.  Another friend on mine caught a 17 pounder years ago by tfalls.  Both are avid fishermen and could be guides if they wanted the extra hassle. Big ones are out there!

Thanks that is what I thought. It was probably the biggest smelt ive seen. Used to go all the time as a kid with my dad and loved it. Not many left anymore. Trying to get my kids out for them. [emoji20]

Just curious, does anyone catch eyes on the north end of Cayuga?  I have my boat up by union Springs this year and thought it would be neat to try for them.

It ran when my dad took it of the boat. He had planned on using it to somehow convert his newer 90hp to 125hp but passed away before he got to it.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been wondering if anyone has ever tried/been successful jigging for Kings on Ontario.  I fish the Finger Lakes mostly and catch a lot of lake trout doing this and have wondered if it would be productive for kings.  I know they do it in the ocean but haven’t heard much of it on the great lakes.  I was thinking of trying it maybe around Labor day when the salmon get a little closer to shore.
