  1. The boat is a Mint 1994  19ft Islander   It has the economical 3.0 Merc with an Alpha one outdrive that pushes the vessel 35 mph. The boat/motor has only just over 100 hours on it.

     Everything is still like new.

Trailer is a galvanized bunk trailer for easy loading and  unloading. You don't have to worry about the boat sliding off while you are backing down the ramp. Loads just as easy due to the side bunk guides. You always ends up centered.

The boat is pretty well  loaded and is ready to fish. There is nothing that is required to fish. I will even included some quality rods and reels (Talora, St. Croix, Tekota's ect) ,TBD during negotiations

I bought this late last year from a forum member. I have added and improved upon what I got to make it even better if that was possible. It is super clean and ready to go. I just do not have the time to fish this and have to admit I just will not use it as I had hoped

Extras include: (some info from last September per the previous owner)

Honda 15hp 4 stroke 25in shaft, electric start, power tilt, Power Trans wireless remote steer (also hardwired incase batteries in remote die), If purchased new this would cost over $6000 for the same set up. Troll all day long on around $20. Super quite and a guy can fish by himself because of the wireless remote steer, it allows you to steer the boat while fighting a fish.

Big Jon electric planer reels with dual masts for each side of the boat ($800)

Custom canvas cover ($800) I had a second  custom 1/2 cover made and side windows (another $1400) that zips/snaps into the bimini top.

Lowrance HDS 5 Sonar/GPS with Navtronics chip, super detailed ($700)

    FishHawk X4 ($650)

    VHF Radio ($125)

10 Big Jon Rod holders ($1000)

    Bimini Top ($500)

2 Cannon Mag 20 Riggers, High speed with auto stop. They are mounted on Heavy duty swivel 4" pedestal bases in tracks. ($1000).

2 Cannon Mag 10 Riggers,  They are mounted on Heavy duty  bases. ($1000).

Stilletto Stainless 4 Blade prop ($350)

That's  $14,500+ worth of extras not even counting the rods, reels, tackle that may be included.

Also included are life vests, buoys, ties downs, anchor, downrigger balls, paddle  ect

Asking $13900 but am open to cash offers in person. My consider holding paper if need be.

Test drive/fish for serious buyer. Out of water right now but will arrange launch location if need be

I will also consider selling without the kicker,  downriggers ect. Open to ideas.

I do not have to sell but I also realize this boat will sit more than I will use it till my kids are out of school.

I may also be able to include a slip on Canandaigua fro the rest of 2014. I have to check and see if I can  transfer.

Please PM, E-Mail, text or Call for more details/questions ect.

    Thanx for looking

  2. Mudflat that is a good idea as a place to start. Wish we had thought of it. I just got off the phone with Lowrance and they were not much help. At least the guy I got wasn't.

Thanx to all for some good ideas. I just want to get everything sorted out before I put it up for the year. That way I know when I start fresh next spring she is all ready to go.

  3. What are the pros/cons of the Okuma Coldwater vs the Cabela's DepthMaster II Linecounter Trolling Reels?

In looking at both, I assume  that Okuma makes the DepthMaster for them. The Cabela's reel is actual more money but seems like it may be better made.

Trying for figure out from those that have used both or one/other what you like and don't like.

I looked at both yesterday in store and today I see the Cabela's is on sale and less than the Coldwater now.

    Opinons welcome

  4. I recently started using pair of these reels. One 453 and one 303. Still a bit early to comment on durability and longevity, but so far I am very happy with them. I have them on the boat with a pair of Tekota's also in the same sizes. Not quite and smooth as the Tekota out of the box but for half the price I am trying them.

For the cost if they hold up I can get another spare or two or put different line on them and not break the bank. I could now use some of the same rods for walleye as I do for Stripers and Lakers but with different line.

Time will tell how they do in the long run but I think they will be great.
