The largest mikita batts i could find reasonably priced. Id have to look but they are either 5 or 6 Ah. If its not too cold I can easily rip 40-50 holes on 12" of ice. Keeping blades sharp is important, too.

What do you use to sharpen blades? What a great discussion this was! Maybe I should start a new topic for sharpening blades?

Wow... I got to know him about 15 years ago playing cards at my parents house. I think it was during the derby he saw us parking the boat and it was all fishing ever since. He actually taught me how to make loop leaders for perch. “They will feel that hook if you don’t make a loop for your hook.”
Booked my first charter with him to learn more about still fishing. Got skunked and went out again and only caught one. But my charter was worth the million answers he gave to my million questions that day. Very knowledgeable and yes I have seen his health slowly deteriorate over the last years.
Going to miss him and his face sitting in Dunkin Donuts flirting with the girls behind the counter. Great guy. RIP perch messiah

Worst case scenario you don’t like it and you sell it for $100 less than what you paid for it on here. You probably have $100 worth of lures you don’t use anymore. I think it’ll help you and someday you’ll say “wow, how’d I ever get by without one?”

Maxi Mate I cleaned up repainted and lined the separators with cupboard rubber mat to help prevent spoons bagging around.

We need to get a probe that does water clarity on the market again. I don’t know what happened the first time but seems like such a great tool.
