Ran 4 dipseys and 1 rigger. Stayed at approx 1.7 to 2 mph gps. Caught 1 fish around 21 inches on north end of the lake. Return trip down east side showed very few fish on ff. Crossed back over to west side of lake and d i didn't have any marks there either. Moved out to 100 ft and found fish stuck on the bottom with lock jaw. Numorus spoon changes and speed changes couldn't get a rod to fire. Packed it in at approx. 1830 and headed for the ramp. Slow fishing. But boat ran great. Good day on the water.

  6. Not good started the day getting out of work late. Got home hooked boat up to truck, no trailer lights. Fixed problem and headed out. 1 hour drive put me on water at approx 1030. Put boat in water at south side and parked truck. Got out in lake started marking a ton of fish go to start kicker and it won't start. No problem fire up big motor to troll with and that starts to overheat at low speed. No problems at normal speed but overheating at low rpm

Head back to dock after fighting with motors for an hour out on the water. Loaded up and headed home. 0 fish. Lots of marks 60~80 foot water was brown. Don't know about temp.

  7. Thanks Sk8man you seem to know your stuff pertaining to the fingerlakes. I grew up dragging copper and lead in cauga lake. Some of the things I've read about your seth green rigs I did with my grandfather useing the record players for reels and pulling fish off the bottom by hand. He just passed this March and with him went more knowledge than I could have ever remembered. Even at 85 if I wasn't catching fish he some how knew why. So thanks again. Nice to have questions answered
