Just wanted to thank johnnywalleye, I read this the other day and took the advice about Wednesday night being a good bet. Got my limit from shore last night at oneida. No one else around caught any tossing sticks, got mine on a jig.

I’m not really new but did have a question if other members have any issues using this app on iPhone? I haven’t really been able to go on much lately because when I start to browse the app it swaps over to the internet and opens an ad tab or something? Thanks.

Hey just checking in with any potential shore anglers here regarding the marshmallow/ worm action from skaneateles lately? I have been experiencing a pretty steady drop off in Fish caught the past 3 seasons or so, anyone else experiencing this or just my spot? Thanks!

Hey Justin, did I see you out there sat AM? I was in a bass boat in front of causeway thought maybe I saw you start a troll near the marina around 830ish? It has been slow for us the few times I have gotten out for tigers.

4" out there today at the dam, main lake look locked up but no one on it yet. 2 tigers 4 bass and one spooled tip up with a malfunctioning flag [emoji35]!

Thanks, I'm figuring that out due to the lack of info on places like ice shanty. I guess I'll just have to figure it out the old fashion way!

Anybody ice fish out in this area? I have been looking around for some spots to try as my family has recently gotten a place out this way. Little long lake, north lake, forestport res are a few of the options I have run across. Any input regarding ease of access/ crowds would be appreciated! I'll be checking at least one out this weekend so we'll find out one way or another !

I was out today by muskrat bay ice was between 6-8" saw a lot of perch and a few bass but couldn't put them on the ice

Solid 4" at least north half of the dam today. Decent amount of people over there, bite was slow for most I talked to outside of the gills. Saw one guy catch a decent tiger

I would say the amount of large tigers killed on the ice is overstated. I think it gets more attention as ice fisherman are more active on forums like this and iceshanty. Lot of tigers hurt and killed in summer months that go unnoticed online. The ice fishing is more concentrated too so more eyes on catches
