I have shot 4 deer with the new muzzleloader and the Hornadys. All four dropped in their tracks and the bullet looked like that. Until they let me down, I have no reason to switch.
Ok you were warned

So here is the bullet that I shot my muzzleloader buck with. It went through the near shoulder and poked a pin hole through the hide on the far side. (same exact thing it did to my buck last year). So it didn't quite pass through. As you can see there is no mushrooming. No fragmenting. It's practically reusable. T/C shockwave 250 grain 100 grains of 777
Thoughts?

Man.... I feel bad for you guys.... Try having the property you have hunted for 30 years get bought out from under you by some A$$Hole ( Snuck behind my back on a bid). Get hurt the day before Gun season taking stands off the same property... Shooting hand and arm in a F-in cast .. and have to sit and read all the big buck posts....
Yea....I feel really bad for you guys....[emoji122]

Yep. And a big 8 during bow. He hunts every day and wants a big guy. He’s happy but can’t wait for muzzleloader now.
He will now have to chase steelies and browns for a few weeks lol.

TC Omega 120gr BH209 Federal or CCI Mag primer....I had great groups with the Hornadys with same load but bad things happen performance wise on more than one occasion....Barnes have never not penetrated and expanded and flat out smacks deer hard.
