Funny I bumped a deer in dark walking in reek of rutting buck in air
Coyote came thru tried to squeak him in but no go
Then a doe can running thru woods. And then a medium size 8 pt

This damn wind is killing me
The spot I couldn't hunt this morning I have pictures of 10 different buck passing thru this morning including the big 10 who also passed right infront of my stand on last night November 4 at last shooting light

........that deer wouldn't make 120" even if you used my brother's tape measure. Looks 109-112"....probably 2.5 years old? Two or three more years of cooking needed.
2 1/2yr old for sure I didn't measure him likely won't be 120" rough quick guess from stand before I looked at pictures.. but glad to see you are good enough to nail it down to 109-112"
2 or 3 more years huh? So you only shoot 4 1/2 or 5 1/2 yr old deer god bless you, how many 5 1/2 yr old buck you killed in NY?

Browning Pictures
Reconyx Pictures -
Browning battery life is very good Reconyx are great
Thats thesame report I've heard on the Bushnells
I have 2 Reconyx and 3 Brownings and 2 junk Coverts that will likely quit this season if the others are any indication
-
I had a cuddeback and returned it was a piece of crap, maybe I got a bad one ?
Again nothing trumps Reconyx period...$550 is the down fall
Brownings have been good so far in a $129-$149 price range
I only use black out no flash type cameras the infra red or low glow spook deer
Covert...junk
Moultrie...junk
Primos...junk
Wild game...junk
I've hear good reports on Bushnell but never tried one as I think their optics are crap and couldn't get past that fact

I told you guys that some doe were in and breeding has started...remember it's a marathon not a sprint, every property will be different.Doe will come in and get breed and buck will be on the prowl for his next conquest. It's boom or bust but just know at any second you could have a chasing frenzy or buck trolling past ...kudos to those that are hunting in this down pour, not for me I feel the deer don't really move in heavy rain but when it stops look out
-
Thats why I like fishing with you
-
some are humping already
-
Killing me right where I sat yesterday afternoon 3 1/2 hours too late! NW wind will be blowing right to where he walked from
freaken weather!
-
The NW wind for my spots is akin to a NE for fishing
