Other plot just down the hill is clover and just mowed. This took alot of work. Clearing tops from where it got logged and dumping tons of lime to get ph up. Gonna be good though.

Welll ... I wish I could hit something. Ha nice bucks everyone!!!! Whaler congrats on raising a good kid that is a great hunter! Today I had a spike buck walk in. He had two inch horns and as tough as it has been, I unfortunately had a thought cross my mind about skinning him. He walked on though. Tough year so far but not giving up. Good luck to all still holding a tag and congrats to all who got it done!!

Nice job to everyone on there deer! I have been hunting a select few and been unsuccessful to say the least. Pretty sure I had a 140ish 10 at 80 on Saturday but couldn't see his head. If it had a mane it could have been in the derby though. There's always tomorrow I guess. Good luck to all with tags in hand!!

Here's our oat, clover plot with strips of brassicas in highest light areas. Rain made it blow up last week. Last year it was a hemlock flat that got logged. Took alot of clearing. And lime!
