  1. Slide Divers give you a more stealth presentation. I run a slide diver on my wire. I put about 30 to 40 ft. of fluorocarbon with the slide diver on. When the fish hits the slide diver slides to the dodger and stops. The fish is far enough back of the slide diver not to get any leverage.
  2. Called him today and I told him I have 3 reels to check out. He said to send them. Never asked what kind or size. I sent 2 magna pro 20 and 1 cv45. Last year I sent 12 reels all Okuma 20, 30, 45, and 55. No problems.
  3. Okuma convectors and 8' 6" Okuma Blue Diamond rods
  4. Used Black Coated Tru Trac for 30 years
  5. I use a lot of Moonshine lures. When you charge them they glow very bright for a long time. I have noticed that when the glow settles down that they get more hits. The bright glows sometime seem to scare the fish. Many time I have caught a fish on a spoon that isn't that bright. Recharge it and send it down and it doesn't get another hit until it gets duller. Moonshine has some of it's glow in a blue and purple that take a lot to charge and don't glow real bright. I have much better luck with them. I use a Rapala light charger cost about $15 and it does a great job
  6. If you using a dipsey and are having trouble with the leader being to long to net a fish switch from a dipsey go to a slide diver. You can have a 100 ft leader if you want and when the slide diver trips it slides down to within 5 ft of the fish. You have to learn how to let the line out but you can use any length of rod you like. Rick (1 old guy)
