Fish the marks- ignore temp unless you find a really good break. FF and meat rigs are my favorite - in white -but spoons and Jplugs can certainly have their day

There will be plenty of salmon to be had at that time. Boats will be stacked inside but offshore will have plenty of steelhead and 2 year olds to play with. Keep in mind that the Fall Loc derby will be going on and it will generally get kinda quiet on here - GL

I decided to let my father sleep in today and help him with some stuff around the house. I took a ride to the store this morning and found a clear Plano box laying in the road on 18 between Wilson and olcott. PM me with its contents and it’s yours to pick up. After hearing nothing but slow reports all week I decided to take my jon boat out and fish smallies near Wilson. That was slow also but I did manage to catch this nasty pig. Epic battle on 6 pound test. I’ll be back after the salmon in the AM and hope for the best

Fished 7-11:30. Started just East of port in 170’ and ended the day just West in 280’. Took 5 majors a 2 year old and a few steelie. Riggers-Spoon bite-black pearl Warrior took all kings 60-95’ down.Temp was all over and I played with the riggers all morning to stay in temp.

Hopefully you get a more recent report than mine. I fished 7-10 on Saturday morning for the first time this year between the barn and the microwave 150-200’ and took 4 matures all on dipseys with a spinny and fly . Had 5 knockoffs on riggers set at 85 and 95 -swing and a miss/Temp was deep. Good luck, looking forward to any report for the upcoming weekend

Welp somebody got away with my tree stand. Have been saving this spot all year to use this week I finally get up here and I have no tree stand. Part of me is pissed and just wants to go home the other half of me says find a log to sit on and take advantage of my time being here. Over an hour drive from my house.

I had a similar experience on Monday although mine was not stolen. Made the 35 minute walk to the very back of our property to hunt a stand I’ve been saving. I got half way up my ladder and was like WTH! The tree top is still resting on the arm rest. Made a mess of the stand! Believe it or not this is the 2nd stand in 2 years to be wrecked by a tree top breaking off

Dan1-Take the time to dial those meat rigs- it will pay big dividends! They are really very easy to run. A lot of people over think stuff on this site- I completely understand not running something you have no confidence in but next year add one to your spread- it’s the only way to learn but once you do you will be very pleased- GL

Those are mostly boat houses and yes they are under water- The houses are all up above- that’s the Island. All private owned homes. No restaurants of any kind

I agree- Olcott has it together. Wilson is State owned- that’s the problem with Wilson- common sense and State run anything never co-exist together. Wilson put floating docks in this year that you have to get to by walking on concrete- concrete that is the same level as the original dock that were their-genius’s!

Spin- going Thursday night on my buddies boat. First Erie trip of the year for me. He fished Saturday night for his first time and caught 5 males in shallow. The night troll with light line is my favorite fishing of the year.
