I caught nothing. Never saw one. Again. I've done every Otisco tournament and have one too short to enter fish to show for it. Still a good time though. Nice to see some of the younger guys there. I know once the season opens we all want to get out but maybe the tournament should be a couple weeks later when the weeds are up and more fish would be caught? Just thinking,I'll go whenever it is.

I straightened a hook out on the only fish I saw Saturday in the monsoon up in my neck of the woods. Frustrating but my own fault. See you guys in a couple weeks.

I have a tent site for Friday and Saturday night. Friday night is paid for, Saturday is not yet. I will not be using it either night and the campground is full. If anyone would like to utilize one, or both, nights let me know. It will have a dock slip with it as well. I will still be attending the tournament.

You worried you might get your butt handed to you by a 10 year old? Like said, all opinions should be welcomed but this is just selfish. Someone must have taught you the ropes a little when you were a kid. How would you feel if they felt the way you do and didn't want to be around kids?

I agree, the next generation is why we do all this isnt it? Thanks for the support, I'll run it by the club next chance I get.
I also want a kids only raffle table where each n every kid gets a ticket n an item to bring home and we are working on getting some rod n reel combos for the kiddies behind the scenes currently.
 
I'll also be serving ice cream for all the kids (and the not so kids like myself) after each tournament. Happy to do so!

That's awesome Zach. I know the feeling being the net man for my little brother. I get far more of a sense of accomplishment netting fish for others, especially youth, than catching fish myself.
