  1. I also remember The Ranch. Also Kramer's bait and boat rental ( that goes way back). It was on the west side almost to the swamp at the South end. I've caught two eyes this year at Honeoye. Trolling with worms deep. Don't go out at all at night. Years ago we did a lot of jigging for them with great success. But that doesn't do it anymore. Been on that lake for 60 of my 62 years. But now if I want to catch eyes. I depend one Lake Erie

  2. I was there. But the wind was too much to troll I was drifting. Kind of slow. Probably at 1.0 with bottom bouncers and worms. Probably too slow because all that I got was sheapheads and perch. Man them sheepshead put up a go fight. Thanks I'll be back tomorrow morning

  3. I just came in from SBH. Got 5 real nice eyes. Which is a great day for me. Four on the same hammered gold harness on a triple swivel and 2 oz at 40 FOW and one on lead line with a black and silver Rapala. Took me 4 hours so they weren't really slamming it but it sure was fun

  4. Fishing at Lake Erie have you ever done any jigging for the eyes? It seems that once you get them located that you could do well if you had the right bait and did some deep water casting. Any thoughts on this?

  6. Sounds good. We tryed near the departure bouy on Thursday. Fog was brutal and so was the perch bite. We will have to head down to albino this week. Thanks
