  1. Yah, my plants might need to just hit a threshold of growth or something but they definitely aren’t as tall as the other brassica pics here. I planted aug 1st

If you over seeded the plot it will stunt them horribly. Just another possibility. They should be at least 4”-6” by now

  2. Mine was seven as well but I did 17 17 17 as well as more lime before it got tilled.
No doubt I overseeded but we’ll see what happens. Looking forward to seeing what the Urea does. IMG_1515.thumb.JPG.241344114697cfb9233a130ed8aad2af.JPG

  3. How many pounds do I need for mine Matt?
    Who sells it?

I buy all my fertilizer by the ton from Nutrien AG solutions in Avon. They sell 50lb bags also. And I usually put down 50lbs of Urea per acre on turnips

  4. They will be fine. I plant mine same time every year and we had plenty of rain early August for them to establish. Hit them with some Urea , 46-0-0 just before a rain in early September and they will explode. IMG_7117.JPGIMG_7116.JPG

  5. Thanks for having me up Bill ! That ground tilled up nice again this year. I’ve had a busy couple months. We are working over 10 acres of plots between 2 farms and I’m doing some side jobs in between. IMG_7001.JPGIMG_7003.JPGIMG_7014.JPGmowed 4 acres of clover this past week and fertilized it IMG_6989.JPGIMG_7013.JPGwe put in 3 acres of soy beans and they are almost chest high in areas. WGI_0028.JPGWGI_0020.JPGWGI_0001.JPGWGI_0031.JPGDeer are crushing the beans but they can’t keep up with the growth rate and size of the plot. All about the protein now. Clovers doing great also WGI_1279.JPGWGI_1246.JPG

  6. We also release without ever taking the fish out of the water. Taking a fish out of the water for 3 minutes is similar to sticking your head under water for 3 minutes. Besides, how many pictures of fish do you need and will you still look at them three weeks from now? It seems to me that killing beautiful creatures for bragging rights is not right. Eating them is a different story.

X2 ! A 20lb salmon is a 20lb Salmon. We shake most of um off in the prop wash with pliers and they go back just fine. No need for a bunch of pics.

  7. Wow! Nice fish! Any tips you'd be willing to share for the tigers? I catch them occasionally when targeting pike, but I dont really have a system down for them. Are they just bycatch for you too?

We strictly target Pike and Tigers on Conesus and both will readily take the same couple baits.
