Black and silver smithwick rogues always take fish in the spring. I’ve always got a couple in the water. Bay rat goby patterns are hot also.

We had 1 day a couple years ago between I bay and Webster with a stiff East wind and we absolutely crushed them. 30+ fish day. Could only troll west the waves were so bad we could only troll west. So we kept picking up gear and running back East to keep our west troll going.

I’ve Been running Tekota 500s spooled with 300yds of 40lb braid on DRs for 3 years now with no issues. When the fleas show up I just top shot them with 100-150ft of 30lb big game. Also have half dozen Tekota 600s for divers etc. Hard to beat Shimano quality

Nice find on that matching set. Hardwoods have been producing for us. Finally matched up the 10pt I found 2 weeks ago. Found his other side laying in a blowdown in hardwoods. Squirrels were relentless on it.

Spotted this 1 from the road on another 1 of my regular farms while I was at work.

Its 1 of my regular farms i have exclusive rights shed hunt on. The owner leases property from us so we worked a deal out and I’m greatly appreciative of it. Had 3 of the antlers I found laying within 100ft of the truck.

Got out today for the first time. I Concentrated on 2 Alfalfa fields that have been full of deer the last 2 months and ended up finding 14 antlers. 3 matching sets.

not thick enough,,,, all you guys that have been going out, the ponds Greece, and anywhere else, sorry do not think many of you know what good ice is, fisherman have been going in left and right, including, snow machines, I have been ice fishing for 50 years, never went through, I do not plan on it... with these up and down temps... get real boys... stay off the freakin ice.... towards the end of this week, 2 days of very cold temps, then back up... do not risk it man... I am not... and still here, bring a spud, that tell yah... NOT... never used one and never will, have to know the temps ... period,,, hope I helped some newbies out,, if not god luck...
