Sorry to hear about the shoulder. I am going in for my second surgery on the left shoulder in the beginning of June. Do some prehab now and trying to make it through baseball season. Pain is bad and have started to favor the right one so much so that they think that one has a tear. Really sucks never thought at 42 I would have this much pain. What surgery did you have. Labrum? Cuff?

I put on a backpack lifting it above my head Something that should never had made it tear. The dr I am going to now questions the fix the first dr did. Make sure you do all your physical therapy

Had the same surgery June of 2015 and by November 2015 it blew out again. Starting the process again February first but hoping for a different result with a different dr.

Agreed BigWilley I have been doing the same for fifteen years and have been fortunate to take 7 pope and young over that time. I am lucky as most of my neighbors do the same. Problem is a few still drop the first buck

Nice job on the buck Dan. Too bad there are a$$holes everywhere and can not be happy for you. Most nights it is tough to even tell when sunset is and I know we are supposed to check every day but come on. Given the chance at a good buck most would pull the trigger and not think twice. Last night my neighbor shot at 507. Yes 507. He was happy he killed his fourth and fifth doe even though you couldn't see 30 yards. He stretched it big time, you were close enough. Bet some of these guys would shoot before 7 am when sunrise is much later. Screw the haters enough your kill.

He's dead one of my ball players shot him in the shoulder he ran across the field maybe 80 yards and the guy finished him. Feel bad for the boy hit him right in the shoulder You can see his shot.

My son had surgery yesterday at 11 months, my wife seeing how stressed it made for up this morning and said why don't you go hunting, 15 mins later I am out the door. Get to my camera by my best stand and go to pull the card me you guessed it. GONE. Would love to catch the he k who did this .Probably found few pics since I pulled the camera only days earlier and this guy was on it. it.

Didn't get out this morning fighting a cold that just won't give up. Managed to check the camera close by on a food plot. Showed up last night at 630pm. Hard to see but he has a time that comes off his head right by his ear the is gotta be 10 inches or more.

Not having as much time to hunt this year due having a 10 month old. Just wondering what everyone thinks about where the deer are at? I have been out on the weekends and have seen no signs of chasing or that the bucks are cruising in 8A.

Is the best still yet to come or will we be locked up soon? Thoughts

Got to the stand late. Forgot to switch my glasses for contacts and as soon as I got into the stand for doe walk by. Great morning but it gets better. Saw seven bucks after the four doe. 2 different fights and saw an absolute pig. Wish I had a youth hunter with me

There are a number of factors that go into calculating your effective distance. For some they pick up the bow the day before the season and they gonout with the cheapest arrows and throw them all over the woods with a hope and prayer. Other like myself the bow is an extension of us. We shoot all year burn through strings, shoot 3d, indoor, backyard, garage and basement. I have had shots from three to forty seven yards and have all ended with a kill. I know my equipment and trust my judgement, hunting with a bow is what I love. Put a gun in my hand and I am one of those people who I mentioned previously. Everyone must know there limit and stick to it. While I had made shots out to 47 yards the conditions must be perfect.

Tuesday 12/15/2015 after a few hours of pushing we were rewarded. Might not be the biggest but it's definitely a trophy. Can't wait until he's old enough to take to the woods.

Last few times to get out this weekend. We are having our first baby this week and I can hardly wait. In the last week I have seen a lot of deer on there feet early in the afternoon going to the food plots. Not what I would expect given the weather. Good luck this final week to everyone.
