Ya the pump quit on there boat and by The time they noticed it was too late. I was the first to arrive to there boat and it was only a matter of a minute after I arrived the boat went under. Two other boat arrived shortly after me and all made it on boats safe. The true glory of fishing on this lake is the concern people have when someone is in needed from the very first call for help these men had everyone  looking to see if they could help.

Got this out front of cat fish creek Sunday went 1for 2 I don't think it's a brown can someone Help ID for me. 

Sometimes it more about the memories than the size. This is a 25 pound fish that was my 6 year old nephews first salmon. I'm having it done for him.

Cast resin alumilite I love that stuff works well.

I started making stick bait mold and custom baits and have been trying some new color patterns here's a couple of them

I fished the lake last week and caught more fish this year then I have the last three year combined. I went 20 for 26 last week and could not believe the amount of marks we found out there. But I think part of the issue is that the fish are sitting right on the bottom. Every day right before Sun up and just after Sun set the screen looked like it was in display mode with the amount of marks.

Left the dock at 7 this morning after I over slept that snooze button was just to easy to push. So already running behind I set out of Sandy pond and got on my way. Started in 150 fow riggers down 100 and 90 dipsey out 244. Collector about half an hour before the 100 riggers fired. No sooner did I take it out of the rid holder went the dipsey took off both meat Riggs. So as me and my girlfriend landed both fish. Picked up to move one on a fly and the other cut bait. Than just as we were about to pick up hit doubles again at noon. Man what a day on the water 6 of 6 to end the day

Went 4 for 6 yesterday, morning had doubles right off than just a steady pick after that. mix of fish that came off both riggers and dipsey. fished 630 to 12. cut bait and ff were working best for me.

Any pic and where are u located

I have been fishing the lake and the river most of my life. Just cant get enough of it but I think that 4 year ago was the major flood in the river that were a direct impact on the natural Spawned salmon. When people are catching kings in the parking lot it only stands to reason that there were shot of non fertilized eggs or were spawning on the banks and when the water receded. Just my opinion for what its worth

Ya the inlet can be a bit rough at time I have been doing it for the past 26 years and its different every year its a lot better now that it use it be now that it gets dredged on a yearly basis but I went out of the little salmon last year for the first time at the state launch man its nice over there

O and if u do go out of the pond make sure u go around the island dont try to cut through from green point other than that it was ok just went through the cut last weekend with my 19 ft with out any issues
