Fished the 200-280 fow area N of Hedges this AM and marked quite a few fish at 100' and deeper. Landed 3 small kings 90-95' down in the 230 range. Had several hits but no catches on both sliding and fixed cheaters. A nice morning on the water.

Nice fish and nice job!! Nothing like landing one that size by yourself.

Ugh, fleas.

That's a healthy looking 12 lber.

Thanks Mako, good to have a report from the east side.

I fished NW and then NE of I Bay this morning in the 180-240 range. Didn't mark hardly anything. Had one release and one 18" king on a Bloody Death at 85 over 220. Temp was down in the 100 range. Maybe I should have gone deeper based on what I'm seeing here. At least the chop broke and the skies cleared late in the morning.

Beautiful fish!

Sorry about your net, but that's a beautiful picture!

Nicely done on the catch and for showing a youngster one of life's great pleasures.

Good to see you back on the water and back on the LOU site.

Trolled from 100 to 140 N of the bay, marked plenty of lakers in the 140 range. Coming back in around 10:00 lost 3 steelies in the 115-100 area N of Shipbuilders. Nice aerobatics but spit the spoons. At least a good sign of life out there.

I'll be heading out Sat AM from IBay also. At least the winds look low and from the S and maybe the front coming in with possible rain in the PM will kick something up. I guess between the 3 of us we'll find out

Went out for a shake down run on Tuesday night in Ship Builders area and a bit east of there. Clear water was void of fish. Ran out to 90' to run the motor and let the riggers run and marked 2 fish about 55' down. Waves were rough at first but calmed down about 7:00. At least the boat is in water.

I bet they miss the Bayside too.

Beautiful job Andre! Does that rod holder spin like a roulette wheel? Could make fishing a little more interesting.

Big or small, I'm sure they were happy to reel them in! I've thrown divers in the mix routinely this year, but not at lengths of 200'. What's your estimate of depth these are going on the 2 setting?

I agree Sk8, managed one fish each of the last two trips out of IBay. At least they were good ones.

Holy cow! Nice pics Soup. We used to stroll along the river when our daughter was attending SUNY Oswego a few years back. Never saw it anything like that.

I think there is some dredging going on around the water treatment plant by Kodak. But I prefer Gill-T's explanation.

Fishing solo for kings is a blast. Sometimes I have one hand on the wheel to stay the course and the other keeping the rod true. The only time it gets hairy is getting them in the net. My GoPro is on standby and at the push of the button it grabs pics for a clean catch and release.
