Went out of sandy today and went to 280 ft . Then the mag dipsy out 140 feet with a green spindoctor and fly took a rip and we landed a 27 pound salmon. It was the only fish of the day. The length was 39 inches

1. What kind of line can you use for the planer board tow line?

2. What release works best for pulling copper lines?

3. If you make your own boards are they strong enough to pull copper lines ?

I am trying to install my sub troll but i am having problems mounting the black release without the downrigger ripping it off on my downrigger. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to fix it so i can have it stop ripping off the clamp so i can have release above the probe. Thank you
