They reduced the flow for the start of the shipping season.

They're letting out more than what's flowing in. Check the IJC website. Hence the lake level continues to drop. The outflows need to be drastically reduced or 90% of the marinas and launches will not be useable, especially for larger boats and those with inboards

I think every member of LOU needs to write our state and federal representatives urging them to work with IJC to immediately reduce the outflows for the next few weeks. Aside from the Tug there is little to no snow pack left. We cannot rely on having above average rainfall in April to raise the lake level.

I am coming back to the finger lakes after a number of years away - Can some one point me to a good source for the trolling flies I see folks using to catch spring fish

Not sure what you're running early, but standard rule of thumb is glows early, then switch to silver/chrome, UVs. Also try stretching your lead back from the ball. As the sun gets higher they can see everything much better

When this project is all over people are not going to believe what they see... I cant go in to details because of my source but say good by to most of the parking.  Oswego could care less about the fishing public.  They don't have a clue the about revenue generated by the fishery nor do they care.

Can you comment if the lower parking by the docks will be effected?
