I was at a weigh in for a derby last summer at Huks marina.
They had a group of students from Queens university tagging fish. Could be one of those. If it is that tag sends info out for 5 years.

Hydofoil
in This Old Boat

I have a combo alluminum hydrofoil trolling plate .
I cant say for sure wether the hydrofoil makes a big difference.
But the trolling plate when in use is awsome.
I have a 17 ft lund prosport with a 115 yamaha that i can slow down to less than 1 mph with the plate. 3 mph without the plate.
Top speed is 41 mph.
