Go to Youtube and search either offshore or church planer boards. There a few videos on how to use each of them. I prefer offshore boards myself. There are videos on offshore's website also.

From what I was told a few months back, the green numbers are the older models. I just bought six new ones and they are all white.

I have great lakes planers rod trees on my boat and they are nice. I bought them because I can easily remove the tree from the base with just a few turns of the knob. I have to remove the trees to get the boat in the garage. I have not had any issues at all with them.

x3, the braid will slip on the spool if it is tied directly to it.

payment sent, Thanks

Got my flashers yesterday, exactly as described. Thanks

I have everything hooked up to a size 27 starting battery and have never had a problem with low voltage (2 riggers, 2 graphs, temp probe etc). I have my 9.9 Yamaha charging the system while trolling. I don't think you will be pulling up both riggers at the exact same time very often if at all. I would not worry about it as long as your starting battery is good.

well that sucks, hopefully I wont have any problems. Thanks for the reply.

I watched the video and it appears that it would work well. I have used tufline micro lead for two years and also use back to back uni knots to connect the backing and leader. Like chowdaire said strip off about 5 or 6 inches of lead from the sheath and tie the knots. It is compact and flows the guides without issue.

Anyone know why some have white numbers and some have blue numbers? I'm assuming one model is older than the other possibly. I just ordered a few and they have the white numbers.

It's on ebay right now too, it will be gone in a couple of days regardless.

Do you still have this?

I want to try and troll for salmon this year on the west end of the lake. I have no idea what color or brand of flashers I should buy. I am looking for suggestions so that I don't buy a bunch of unproductive colors. Looking at buying pro troll or Dreamweaver. Thanks in advance.

I currently am using Okuma Deadeye rods for my board rods. I think they are 8'6" long and are telescopic which is nice when you put them away. I'm not familiar with Diawa's but any decent reel with mono will do. I use the Offshore boards and if you use braid they suggest upgrading the front clip to the OR 18 clip.

I have a total of 6 Alphamar linecounter reels for sale. Two of the reels are the 16LC model and 4 are the 20LC model. They are all in excellent condition and I would rate them a 9 or 9.5 out of 10. Four of them have mono backing with 100 yds of 30 lb power pro mainline. The other two 20LC models have tufline micro leadcore on them, one has 5 colors and the other has 4 colors. I will keep the leadcore if no one wants it. I also have 2 Shimano TDR 8 foot medium heavy rods and 2 cabelas 9 foot dipsey rods. I will sell them as a combo for 75.00 each or the reels separate for 60.00 each and the rods for 15.00 each. Shipping extra. Call or text 716-673-6614.

Franks outdoors sells a pair of offshore boards with tattle flags for 80.00 I think. Cheapest place I found anywhere.
