Wanted to add down temp and speed, is a unit called a depth raider drx 10 worth a rats ass or should  I pony up for a fish hawk, most of my fishing is on Lake Erie, probably wont use it there , I normally make about 5 or trips a   year to your pond

  2.

Been trying to find out about LEGALLY towing my 26 PY up to your pond a few times this summer and fall, I'm about screen blind from reading all the crap from the NY dept of trans, my question is, has anyone here from the forum ever gone thru all the steps and done it right, and if so maybe you can point me in the right direction or to someone who handles this  kind of thing. Ive never had a problem in years past with no permit, but Id like to be legal if its not too big a pain in the ass

  3. Boat is going in next week will post pics then, ill check and see if there are any more on my computer

Also replaced fuel pump this spring with a new unit that is compatible with Ethanol as are all the fuel lines and carb, replaced wiper motor and installed pantograph wiper arm as well as the sending units in both tanks, replaced all trans and engine oil cooler hoses and rear main seal and installed a new damper plate. pulled motor and trans as I had a miniscule oil leak last fall, I had the rear main seal on hand, so it got replaced while motor was out, although that wasn't the source of the leak, found the metal plug that seals the cam bore had a small drip, replaced it too, I'm anal and probably have OCD too,But  I hate half assed things this boat has had Impeccable maintainence,

  4. you should be able to spin the tool with equal resistance all the way around  no tight spots, if you cant do this if the alignment is off, also make sure your all the way in the coupler, coat the tool with grease to see haw far your into the coupler, should go all the way  to the shoulder, also make sure your not binding on the shift connection

  5. Windlass for sale or trade  $400 OBO

Used SL horizon 600 horizontal windlass, just had motor rebuilt before replacing with a vertical unit, works great, just no need for it . includes a new, never used Simpson Lawrence reversing contactor, gears and all other inside components absolutely rust free and undamaged. Also have a used 250 foot anchor rode, 235 feet of 1/2 inch rope with 15 foot of chain professionally spliced, $65 for the rode separately or $40 with the windlass, this windlass is rated for up to about 32 feet of boat. pic is of stock unit, will try to post pics of actual unit when time permits

Will also trade fore Quality wire diver rod and reels, no Okuma Magdas, Convectors or better

  6. Just ordered the EV-100. $1255 total including shipping. I ordered 1 quart of seastar steering fluid $27 including shipping. Not sure what else I'm going to need, maybe some T- fittings? I will post the finished product and any other hickups along the way. Special thanks to Frogger!

Sent from my SM-S920L using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Just wanted to add, you don't have to buy Seastar fluid, Way overpriced, Meyer snowplow fluid meets the same MIL spec as Seastar and is way cheaper
