X2 I agree with the 5 gallon buckets, they will slow you down and keep you stable in waves.....and they are cheap!

Went straight of I Bay out to 265 and caught a 5lb king down 87 had 52 degree water...on way in caught a nice 8lb Atlantic same rig over 180ft....great morning!

X2 with over the limit.....I had the same problem....2 5 gallon buckets...drill 30 1/2 inch holes in the bottom and 20 around the side 3 inch from bottom.....they work great

Past 2 weeks Have been running these off my boards 120 back outside, 100 inside with a split shot 60ft from spoon....2-2.5 mph around Maxwell creek 7-15 ft

Last fall my father gave me his 2001 cc17ft Logic (Now Triumph) and now I want to install tracks for rod holders and manuel cannon downriggers. My question is can I mount them to the gunnel using marine toggler toggle. I've done a little research on the Web and this is a popular method. Does anyone out there have experience with this?

I'm trying to decide how to mount mine as well...could you post a pic or two of your set up....thank you!
