  1. I was fishing Bay of Quinte with some buddies , early to mid 90s when a partial eclipse went over.

    Fish turned on like crazy.

6-7 walleyes over 6 lbs in less than an hour.

Wind came up shortly afterwards and blew us of the water.

Never seen Hay Bay go from flat water to crazy that fast.

iIf you are out, please report as I would like to see if anyone else has the same luck.

Nit that it really matters because I don’t think many of us will be around for the next total eclipse in this area.😎😎

  2. Thanks for the info.

Starting to wonder whether Henderson Harbour is the destination now.

An hour closer to home and have fished Henderson a lot.

Anyone want to weigh in on best guesses for brown first or second week in April out of Henderson Harbour?

  3. Looking for recommendations for a place to stay early April around the Oswego to Fairhaven area.

    Probably going to be 4guys.

    Close to water.

Doesnt have to be 5 star but a restaurant with breakfast close by would be handy.

    Boat launch too.

    Thanks.

    Mitch.

  4. I have the clear bottom unit on my Mako CC.

2ins and 2 outs on the mount.

    Easy to plumb.
Hard connected to the main and the normal Yamaha line to the kicker.

Would post a picture but boat is still in storage.

    It does work very well.

  5. The high output 9.9s are amazing.

My Yamaha will push my Mako at close to 10 mph if the main ever quits.

Or if the prop drops off the main like it did last fall.😳

Ran about 4 miles back to a launch.

Not sure how an electric will work doing that.

  6. Have a 201 Mako.

    Bought aT9.9 Yamaha last year.

put the Panther SS bracket on.

One thing I found when I was looking at the new motor was , if you have power trim on the small motor, it doesn’t have clamps to go on to the bracket. It should be bolted on.

Got out a few times last year.

I clamped the motor straight and used the main motor as a rudder  as I have an auto pilot hooked to the main motor.

Happy with the results but will be looking to tie both motors together this year.

    Good luck.

  7. Hey folks.

Wondering if there is any off site parking around Syracuse airport.

Flying to Florida beginning of November .

I find $10 a day a little step as I will be there close to 3 weeks possibly.

Flew out in March and stopped to fuel my truck and thought I saw a sign advertising but to stupid to take a picture.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Mitch.

  8. Please don’t laugh.[emoji41]

I was cleaning out my enclosed trailer and found 30 rolls of Lowrance paper for a paper graph.

Think it will fit the Eagle Mach 1 as well.

Got it when I bought the boat I have now.

Have an X-15 but never spent any time trying to get it running.

Should there be anyone out there still running a paper graph[emoji16]and wants to make an offer ,have at it.

    Willing to ship.

Would just rather see it go to be used than tossed.

  9. Good morning and Happy Easter.

    I have a 95 201 CC Mako with a 200 Yamaha 2 stroke.

Just picked up a 22 Yamaha T-9.9 kicker.

Bought a Panther kicker bracket over the winter.

Because of the motor well on this boat , I think the connection will need to be made  at the rear of the 2 motors.

Anyone have a rear setup that they would recommend?

    Any advice would be great.

Want to do this once and right the first time.

    Thanks

    Mitch.

  10. Chains being that far back are likely due to the swing tongue.
Breakaway also needs a battery to activate brakes.
I believe that most municipalities require a closed loop connection rather than a hook as well.
S hooks should be a thing resting in the past!

  11. I just bought a Panther bracket for my Mako 201 CC.

Got the stainless version ,open box for $199 off Ebay.

Keep an eye out as these kind of deals show up once in a while.

Same unit here in Canada retails for over $500 C.

  12. Take the bearings out and inspect them. Seals are cheap. Loosing a set of bearings may not be if one of your wheels passes you going down the highway and hits something or someone.
